He hates it when the crowd aren't very good, he was really just like "I can't be assed with these lame fucks" you can tell. And as a musician myself the most boring thing is when you are playing to an unresponsive crowd. He wasn't really getting anything from these guys so he decided to just fuck about! and if you watch them play evidence here you can see how pissed off he is so he begins lashing out, especially after touring for so long the last thing you want is a lame crowd.
I Think Mike Patton should take a live concert more seriously even more in one that's been recorded... Truly, he makes the whole band sound like a random senseless crap, just my opinion...

fyi: this festival sold out way before FnM were confirmed. most of the 50.000 ppl there were under 25, probably never having heard a FnM song before they heard 'From Out of Nowhere' Apart from that, yes: us Dutch are among the worst audiences in the world :)
i dont no too much about the annoyance of dutch audiences,but go back to when they played midlife crisis for them.towards the end the audience takes over the lyrics and you can actually see mike patton choke up a little that even after almost 20 years later people still know the words.
back in 89/90 he smashed a glass bottle in his hand.the doctors thought he would lose all movement in his hand but he could still feel. the opposite happened, he can move his hand but it is irreparably numb.this is true, he was asked this in an interview (check audio interviews on youtube, maybe the australian radio one) where he confirms this.
The piano and the drums sound wrong when you're there on stage cuz the drums is playing on odd numbers :P And patton is following either his memory or the drums here, when he sould be listening to the piano...
My guess is that they didn't rehersal this song before they went on stage.
patton is not bored, nor hates anybody.. he's just stoned to the teeth :P
