  • i dont know but negreanus voice reminds me of edwart norton

  • im oll lhin

  • "must have got something good over there" LOL

  • lol he dont really care if he lose... it wasnt big chips... only little money for him so it dont really effect anything... probably the only thing he gonna be mad about its that he is out of the competition

  • lol nice

  • looks like negreanu let emotions get the best of him. I knew there was a pocket because of the raise pre-flop but when that 9 came up ..and the man raised so much money it should have sent red flags up.

  • @yohance Guess you should buy into the main event then. Raise pre-flop no way he could have AA KK QQ JJ I suppose, even 88 is open eneded and ahead a lot on that flop.

  • @ArjayBlogs yeah, guy thinks he is better than daniel, every man calls with 3 sixes

  • @ArjayBlogs yeah, guy thinks he is better than daniel, every man calls with 3 sixes

  • @yohance Dude, IT'S WRONG TO LAY DOWN SETS ON THE FLOP. Period.

  • @yohance Clueless

  • @UTubeCommentsAreLOL you are a spastic

  • pure class

  • Thats funny- "Thats how you knew I had a set?"

  • Daniel is the best. thumps up if you think it

  • Comment removed

  • I really don't think he knew what he was doing. If someone had an underpair he would have not got paid off. Just got lucky that daniel had a lower set.

  • The guys reaction there was priceless and why not he will remember that day.

  • phil hellmuth could learn a thing or two about being a gracious loser from daniel

  • @gonelikedinner Wow aint that the truth

  • Is right

  • Eugen...

  • I would NEVER push all-in on the flop knowing that 10-7 is the daniel's favorite hand.

  • no knowledge of poker etiquette when busting the player. smile when the defeated player is out of sight...

  • that guy looks like an orangatang with sunglasses

  • us players can play on pokerview

  • Flopping a set is the hardest hand to get off of when your put to an all in decision on the flop. No pro or anyone for that matter can fold there. Good call. Daniel is still a beast :)

  • Daniel usually good a reading poker faces, but he can't read Asian faces.. LMAO, he thought the man had a king or an ace.. That man did great, and I would have done the same thing.. My honest opinion about poker is yes it does require skills, but if you're always a lucky person.. No way, you can you beat a lucky person on poker.

  • @originalxchin this made me lol

  • @the3bigreddevils made me laugh

  • @1.49 LOOOL at him stuttering .. I ....... def defeated the ggggreat daniel negreanu. FRIGGIN ASIAN!

  • @thebucketofsand can you speak chinese? or Japanese?nah dont think so you cocksucker. Yet he can speak English better than you can.

  • @Depian THE MAD GENIU3Z>Z is the best!

  • daniel should have hes favorite hand 10 7 in that hand jajaja

  • @Cheshario haha no doubt! i just watched that vid too

  • Can't wait this years November 9, GOOD VIDEO

  • That old dude was so aloof he came across as insulting lol.

  • The Asian guy played it perfectly. Props to him. I would play a set of nines the exact same way.

Oh and it's perfect when he insta shoves and says "ALL IN!" because it really does seem like a monster overpair JJ+

  • @zacbites139

  • man i would just freak out!! :-D hitting a set vs a higher set thats what i really hate :-)

  • 1:29 "I thought you had aces or kings" ... I wonder what Daniels' thoughts were on the turn comes up an ace .. he kinda nods when the dealers turns it over

  • Daniel is truly one of greatest pro players =)

  • Set over set = You're going broke almost every time

  • OMG man , Negreanu is from Romania not Canada :(... best player in the world :)

  • If i was ballin like daniel, I wouldn't really care if i got beat by that hand. I'll take a set over set any day over a bad beat on river...

  • Mr Negreanu is the most affable poker player out there- great respect to the Canadian.

  • becaus of the re-raise preflop it's pretty sure that he has a big pair or AK or sth like that so only two hands which beat him. right move, bad luck.

  • @cadasil69 4 hands 710, 57, 88, 99

  • reraise with 7T or 57 ?

    don't think so

  • Daniel Negreanu loses with true class. I have a great deal of respect for him for being able to go out that way, he is a true ambassador of poker.

  • wrong nigger

  • @Disney312 guess you didnt see him push a reporter into the pool then, lol. Mind you, i would have too..... its on youtube somewhere, check it out....

  • @a705fay

It's fake...its on youtube somewhere, check it out, says its fake....

  • It is simply admirable how Daniel takes this terrible beat... you wait for one year and go out like this and still you do not lose your temper, this is true class!

  • this is true mask.

  • that's rough.

  • I'd of put daniel on 10 7, his favourite hand and folded my trip nines. Bad fold by me? :-)

  • kudos to daniel

  • damn, with his reading abilities he could have waited till the river and represented the straight, or just check call check call fold

  • I disagree. I think Negreanu played it just right. When you hit your set, you dont want people to draw out on you and hit a straight. On that flop, three of a kind was the best hand, so he rightly played it hard. He just ran into someone with a higher set, which is rare, but does happen.

  • the old man is daniel's fan...

    lol

  • he has a gay bag

  • every poker players worst nightmare. Worse than losing to a gut shot, worse than losing AA to KK, worse than accidentally mucking the winning hand; flopping a set and having NO idea the other guy flopped a bigger set. Your money is 100% all in. whoo, just thinking about it gives me shivers. lol, okay, maybe losing to runner runner is just as bad.

  • this is true

  • Yeah I know what you mean noriskng though I think losing to runner runner is worse. Happens to me a lot. I can count on one hand the times i've lost set over set

  • @MPH84 : lol, that's why I think the set over set sucks more. Doesn't happen often enough to become desensitized o it. :( on a brighter note, I just won with a set of aces over a set of 8's last week. lol, we both checked the flop, and turn, he over bets the river thinking he's good, i push all in, get insta called. yay. wish it was always that way.

  • Daniel rocks. What a great guy.

  • daniel still the best!

  • how can anyone hate Negreanu the guy is all class and definitely a top 5 player in the world

  • "a top 5 player in the world "

I doubt many people would sign that.

  • @PepsiJack He is no way even top 500 anymore. Anyone who knows poker knows this

  • @fleischer123 yeah but still he is a big name in poker and already make more money than most of us will do in our life playing poker.

  • @PepsiJack daniel = donk

  • Again, this need to happen to Hellmuth

  • it did on POker after dark against Allen Cunnigham. Just type in hELLMUTH set over set, it should be there.

  • it happened in omaha against robert williamson and he went ballistic.

  • That guy Negreanu showed true magnanimity in defeat by respecting his vanquisher and the others around the table. Proving he's a quality man, not just a good poker player. Compare it with Ivey's petulance when he was eliminated.

  • twilight

  • I'm surprised Daniel didn't run into quads!!!!!

  • Negraneau is such a cool guy - "O your listening to my tape, so thats how you knew i had a set and you had a better set" LMAO

  • i beat the greeeat Daniel Negreanu!

  • haha great, listening to Negraneau's tape!

  • Ahhh thats poker. No matter how good you are at reading, when someone re-raises you and a flop comes down like that, no-one is folding a set :)

  • thats the poker

  • Sad he can't pronounce Daniel Negreanu

  • loosing in a tourny is a common thing for daniel lol

  • dude its *losing ,not loosing, learn how to spell

  • he is so funny :)

  • wsop is so overrated. its no different from any other poker tourny. the amount of luck it takes to get far let alone win in a poker tournament with that many players is unreal. none of it proves anything.

real poker player skill (such as negraneaus) is shown in CONSISTENCY in poker winnings. Not what place they finished in in WSOP

  • that's why they created 50k horse, and a new 40k hold em tourney, to where the higher buy in ensures it will be filled with pros.

  • daniel is the best!

  • This is why no one can hate Daniel. Aside from the fact that he's insanely good and has over 11m in torney winnings, he's never out of line. He didn't scream or get mad. He didn't even raise his voice. He congradulated and complimented his opponent and even walked out laughing. To those of you to say he made a bad call and should've folded; who cares. Thats one bad read out of so many good ones in his career.

  • You can't fold in that situation. Set over bigger set on the flop hapens only 1 out of 100 times. With those odds, every pros are willing to get broke.

Of course it's very easy to say he should fold when you see everyone's card on TV.

  • Yeah, its not a bad read... its just not a super-ultra phenominal laydown, because that's what it would have to be in order to fold that.

Lady luck just had him out for him this round.

  • ATTENTION Phil Hellmuth....this is how you take an unlucky beat with style, class, maturity and more importantly, like a man!

  • You can still tell hes understandably upset, too. But he's upset at the cards and turn of events, not the person.

  • Daniel Negranu is broke now

  • lol says who? he's loaded bro trust me

  • negreanu isa gambler hes lost millions & plays too much golf nw poker is 2nd best 4 him now

  • don't believe a word of that

  • Big lead out screams "top set"? Are you kidding me? If you knew the first thing about poker, you'd know that you do NOT fold sets on the flop.

  • HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA.

You fold a set here and I'll castrate myself. Idiot.

  • Easy for you to say when you can see the hole cards. Everybody is a genius when he/she can see the hole cards. I highly doubt you would fold here if you were in Daniel's spot. Sure you can look at the hole cards and piece the hand together, but how easy is it when you're at the table?

  • you must be kiddin... DN move was excellent he had an incredibly bad luck. How many times you have a set in the flop?? huh??? The other guy could have had perfectly an AA or KK or even QQ and went all in since flop for him was quite good. And by the way bluff is always a possibility. So shut the fuck up donkey!!

  • The flop is good for aces kings or queens? LOL

  • That doesn't make any sense bro

  • That's absolutely a losing fold in the long run.

  • youre foldin with bottom set on a board of 9 8 6 thats just plain dumb , daniel was right to call his hand as or ks because only 10 7, 5 7, pk 8s or pk 9s could beat him which is narrowed to the pks after the raise so technically there were two hands that could beat him and you say fold.....narr

  • it's not a fold a mere mortal could make, or a POW like negreanu, but I'm a guy who goes with my reads and can make lay downs like this. i folded a set of 2's once on a board of 2 5 7 rainbow cause I was sure the guy had 55 specifically. Okay on that occasion he had 99 and was drawing thin, but I went with my read. I'm only down $4,000 this year too so I must be doing okay.

  • lol, you are funny

  • you might be the only person on YouTube who understands sarcasim

  • Haha, youre just talking shit so people respond to you, well done ;)

  • the guy probably flat out advertised to u he had 55, and probably didnt raise pre-flop like this guy with 99.

  • bro, shipping it holla with bottom set when the old boy is spazzing out with top set across the table is uber standard and anything else is money burn......WTF?

  • Bah, Daniel is too cool to lose.

  • doesn't he look like edward norton?

  • He does. LOL. When I first learned and saw Daniel Negreanu, I thought it was Edward Norton for a second. But if you read about his lfie, it's like watching Rounders. He grinded around illegal private games in Canada before coming to Vegas to become a pro.

  • cooler

  • That's ruff

He can lose with class and dignity

Not even Daniel can read that hand

  • how come no one ever talks about his BAD reads?

  • because he's so good that we use to talk about his good reads!

this hand is a cooler, no way you're folding there, he raised, i would put pada on an overpair there, and it's the same daniel did.

  • Now thats a poker player I respect...

  • I LOVE DANIEL NEGREANU

  • he probably didnt want to stick around in a wsop, because of a lot of players and luck involved and its just not worth his time and money, so he just took the risk to double up fast. i bet after that he played on a cash game where in one hand you can win cash worth ~200th place finish in wsop.

  • after watching Phil Hellmuth losing I saw this video... and man... I LOVE DANIEL NEGREANU

  • he isnt a bad looser!

  • Love Negreanu, he's my favorite player, but I think he didn't play this hand well. You tripped on the low card, there put your opponent on a pocket pair, why not assume he has a higher set? I guess the odds of two pocket pairs hitting on the flop is pretty low, so maybe it would have been too conservative not to call

  • ouh cmon..

  • because when you raise with 66, an opponent re-raises, and you flop a set with 9-8-6 on the flop...you don't think he raised you with 99 or 88, you give him credit for an overpair.

it's incredible how luck is involved in tournaments, the top players are knocked out and the winner looks like a champion, but is a sucker and you can see it. i'm sorry for daniel, because he's the unluckiest i've ever seen.

  • unluckiest was phil ivey ;)

  • Yeah i didnt want Daniel to go out either... Hes my fav player... But he isnt that unlucky.. if you watch him at High stakes poker he win alot :) but loose some too

  • yeah he's a master for sure and earns a lot of cash, but in the key hands he's really been unlucky, i mean, he got almost unfoldable hands. (full house vs quads and he lost 300k, straight vs quads and it was almost 200k, that's a lot of cash.)

  • Yeah i know! =/ Like when Gus hansen had quads 5's and Daniel had trips in 6

  • Negreanu is my favorite poker player. After I watched this video and saw the way he faced this defeat I like him more.

  • you recognize winners at time of defeat

  • 100% agree sir

  • Hes very unlucky right now for some reason.. So many bad beats for him.

  • Negreanu with a lot of respect for other players but you still know that he's a much better poker player. Unlike crybaby Hellmuth who is overrated

  • someone who has won 11 wsop bracelets is overated??

  • lmao pilipino

  • daniel unlucky... classy even in dfeat. great guy
