@steviedoyle08 hardstyle evolved from those genres. this is early hardstyle because this sparked a movement which we now know as modern hardstyle. you can clearly hear elements of hardstyle and elements of its birthing genres, yes some parts are "hard house/hard trance" but if you cant see how this is hardstyle, you're pretending to know more then you do. (listen to the kick, early 909 used in gabber not trance hardstyle's cousin)

@steviedoyle08 House music was produced when there was no name for it. its name was coined from the first Chicago club to play that style of music "the warehouse". we still call frankie knuckles a house dj even though he was just making something a kin to disco, we dont call it disco. you have a valid point, but it's "early hardstyle" its the birthing of a genre, at the time yeah they would have called this trance/hard house but as they developed it the word and style we know was born. my view..
