@Junktown970 true but some people really do just relate to grinding trying to make more then enough money to just scrape by and any straight guy can relate to women so I don't know why people always use this argument against mainstream. Everything has it's place, more people that listen to rap relate to "money, sellin crack, and their hoes" better then they can relate to the topics in underground hip hop ya knoww
Jumping around underground hip hop I noticed that most of the comments are positive, which makes me happy indeed, no mindless zombies behind the screen, people that listen to this kind of music is very intelligent , takes sum to understand the music!
@uLy310 LMAO yeah no shit dude, the guy with the curse that anything he touches turns into gold but thats not what hes saying, hes comparing it to that
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Nice rap bro, but don't seek monopoly, seek no more than you need for your own,and freely teach they that are good so that they may learn to do the same of their own. Take not more than you shall need! The flesh is passing, but the actions last.
i started to cry at 3:34 lol there shud be a repeat button on youtube.. cus this song and nujabes lady brown (by Cise starr too) are like the best songs ever. Imo Cyne should have more record deals then kanye and lil wayne combined.
"CYNE ("Cultivating Your New Experience") (pronounced "sign") is an American indie hip-hop group originating from Gainesville, Florida. Characterized with a warm and soulful sound influenced by left-field hip-hop, rock, trip-hop and jazz, the group is known for lyrics that range from party boasting to meditations on the philosophy of Rousseau. The group consists of emcees Akin and Cise Star, and producers Enoch and Speck, and are currently signed to City Centre Offices"
Real hip hop is not dead yet. It's just hidden. Cyne, Doomtree, JMT...introduce your friends to this kind of music. It's too good to be this unappreciated.
And CYNE is doin right... Let the media portray tha garbage... for those who like the real it jus makes us more alive to the truth... thats wat separates the weak from the strong minded... and im not saying that i dont listen to mainstream...its jus so much cycles and repitition i can take...
When I first heard this I got a tingling feel in the back of my head. That's pretty much how I know this music is beyond the realm of great, and just...surreal.
so you gonna deny them money by not giving them money at all? wack, these guys are out there doing their thing, and you gonna deprive them of their livelihood cuz of other people that have been corrupted by money? yo shit it's hard enough to do their job but to keep doing that shit and knowing their hard work conflicts with the ideas of dumb shits like you guys? fuck man no wonder there aren't enough underground hip hop groups
my point is hiphop should be a hobby, not a career. i don't have a problem with people earning money, but when it's associated with the music they create artists begin to make money more for incentive than for enjoyment or expression.
There will always be people that have greed as their true incentive. There are also always people that will have the goal to be the enjoyment toward giving it beneficiary toward anyone that (in this case) listens to it. Don't judge people by the ones that are doing what they shouldn't; their cruel example toward music and what it is today, but be respectful to those that use it as a way to express their true views or do it for the true reasons that you should.
They released almost all of their albums for free for a limited time on their website, They said they didn't care about money, but just wanted to spread their message.
I have the most appropriate boner.
