I don't know what it was, but 1981 and 1982 seemed to be the years for very weird, imaginative sci-fi and horror, and things like this. Does anyone else know what I mean or can relate to it? Thumbs up if you can. LOL
@tall32guy ....i agree it was the yrs of Ripely's Believe it or Not, The Hardy Boys and Thats Incredible ....all shows that had creepy or weird episodes or segments and on the big screen you had The Thing, The Entity, and creepy made for t.v. movies like This House Possessed
yeah i agree with many of the posters here....although i almost 13yrs old(at the time) this episode was creepy and little more "adult" then pretty much any other episode of the entire series....this is the one that stayed in my memory for the last 30yrs or so
This was a really bizarre direction for this show to go in. But I dig those crazy special effects. Reminder to modern directors... these "cheesy" old special fx--some rotoscoped negative film and crazy reverbed sound effects--was scarier than the best CGI in movies today.
I'm watching this episode now on SyFy. This was such a cool show, and this episode is one of my top 5. Surprised that Robert Culp didn't have much trouble with the blue contacts like Bill Bixby did with the white contacts for "The Incredible Hulk".
This one scared me too.. But i LOVE how Ralph was able to take charge and drop that ghostly bitch back into the abiss of her own hell... The scene where he is on the building as Bill pears out the window was really cool.. Ralph just flies and handles this one like a champ...
@lavonne111986 Me too! That and the electric squid thing from outer space that was sucking up all the electricity. I just watched that one on the CBS website. :) Watching this one on it now! ;)
I love how they keep mentioning Pam just to show she hasn't left the series, lol.

I love the way this isn't played for stupid laughs (a female spirit inhabiting a man's body). Robert Culp was brilliant.
