Bach is the very greatest. Great Beethoven and Mozart are not as consistent.
During Brahms' lifetime the works of Bach and Handel were being systematically published. Its is said that when the great Brahms got a new volume of Handel's music he would say something like "Great! Have to find the time to sit down and study it", but when he got a new volume of Bach's music he dropped everything he was doing and sat dowm immediately to study it.
@bachkirche I think you can only do it manually, step by step, copy one page after another, then you can synchronize (i am for instance using 'Windows Movie Maker'). Of course it isn't easy.
Bach genius great composer no one can or could ignore or avoid he's Brilliant work the complicated way for anyone wanna played he's work and the pure remarkable wave handwriting in he's manuscript and the genius sound which came through he's pieces that stop it all minds to think How is Bach mind work how the music came thru hes head,,that the excellent question which we must ask our self about it and let say Great work+Splendid handwriting+Difficult way for who wanna match hes skill at keyboard
@MusiqueMonAmour : hard question to answer... but his mind worked just like a human's mind does. He clearly had a superior musical intelligence respect to most - if not all ;-) but, for a professional musician, there's little or no mystery to his skill and imagination. His compositions didn't come from nowhere or - the worst assumption - "above". He worked hard, he was born in the right place (not the best), in the right time, he had enormous natural gifts and predisposition for music...
If this were all Bach had ever written I think he would still be famous today.

Which tool did you use to make the video? I haven't figured out an easy way to synchronize page turns with the music.

How did Bach's mind work?
To me he is a prophet - a channel through which the Divine had found a chance to pour into our world in the realm of music.
