Honestly it's hard NOT to have an eating disorder nowadays the way the media is hell bent on everyone being thin. Anytime a celebrity gains a few pounds the media jumps all over them and criticizes them.
What I don't like about this vid is, that the tone is so arrogant and dismissive. Seen that anorexia and bulimy are serious illnesses, which the patients can't break out of so easily by themselves, I don't think that this is the right way to talk about it. The content of the vid is perfectly correct, though.

My best mates mum died of one having got bowl cancer from it and then my other best friend got told she had two weeks to live and yes guess what the feeding tube? well guess what it isant just some kinda nightmare, ask many people who have had bad anorexia... its been their reality atleast once if not more than that... however eating disorders arnt as easy as saying 'stop' but pro anas are seriously miss informed... good vid. xXx
I think both aren't so realistic. Thinspiration with those models is wrong, it's worse for the health than it looks. But not everyone with such an eating disorder will die. That's unrealistic.

@Poepkous Perhaps not, no video can make someone change their lifestyle and bad choices over night...but maybe it will make those girls think. Make them feel more realistic about what they are doing, and maybe give them something that will make them WANT to change.

I don't think she wanted to gernalize and say ALL people with an eating disorders WANT to be "skinny", "pretty" and so on. She wanted to speak to the people who don't know about the consequences of eating disorders and still living this lie.

We look in the mirror and can't stop the words that come: Fat, disgusting, pig, worthless. We feel like we will never be loved or tolerated if we aren't skinny. We are extremely depressed. I cut myself and contemplated suicide because of what the mirror tells me. Now who would choose that?
In my eyes the main problem is that we live in a society in which we don't have to be afraid of anything. There are so many people dying by starvation a day.. A DAY!!!
I mean there surely are people who have serious problems, but to me this pro ana thing is just sick

I think both aren't so realistic. Thinspiration with those models is wrong, it's worse for the health than it looks. But not everyone with such an eating disorder will die. That's unrealistic.
