What kind of self respecting woman would get in that rice? If I drove up in my 1964 Cadillac I'd ram that plastic car out of the way, leaving a small ding, then proceed to save her from that overpriced hot wheel.
I just called Lexus marketing department. They don't even know where they're going with the whole thing because the ad agency is keeping quiet, and more commercials are coming out to bring the story toghether.
Hello all! I am the brunette actress in this commercial and the concept was, well what i acted out, we were all at a party the night before, her boyfriend cheated with me, she got mad at me, chased me, then the bf comes up....and, well lives a little. It was a really fun set and i think it came out great! PS we were in 4 in heals and running all day!
I like that the blonde is wearing red (same color as the car -- she has a long-term stake in the property) while the brunette is wearing black (shade of the driver's suit -- she has an immediate claim on him).
Also, blonde's wearing jewellery, maybe a cross (that he bought for her, symbolizing duty?); brunette has white lace trim (flirtatious opportunity: her as virginal from his pov).
Also... two smokin' hot foxes running in heels and nightgowns.
Aw man, some serious fail on these interpretations.
The girl in black did something to infuriate the blonde, which is why blondie is furiously pursuing her. The driver comes along and makes a quick judgement call.
He lets the brunette in his car on the assumption of her being a bad girl, because she musta really pissed off that blonde, hence the "live a lot" line. He's taking a big chance rescuing the brunette who did something unknown to incur the anger of the blond.
That helped a lot! Just watchin this spot on its own, I would have definitly agreed with STeadFasT96... But now (having watched all three in order) it put it all into perspective. So to sum it all up... Its a chase ad (pure and simple) In the 1st one he is being chased (Why? Who cares!); 2nd one he sees someone else being chased so he picks her up (Why is she being chased? Who cares!); 3rd is that they have a 3 star wanted level and they've sent out the chopper! Good thing they're in a Lexus!
The brunette obviously knows the guy who picks her up cuz she says "Hi" as she gets in rather than "thanks". Why she is being chased by a blonde is the question? My guess is the blonde is angry at the brunette for something not having to do with the guy in the car, which is why the blonde only glances at him. Brunette probably stole something and is being chased, rescued by her accomplice in the Lexus.
wow these losers are actually analyzing a commercial...just watch the damn thing, he looks at the blonde, no like, sees the brunette, happy spot likes, and she gets in. who gives a crap why they run...damn
Are they running in street shoes or in running shoes? We don't get to see what they have on their feet, there's no way they could be in heels, so they must be in running shoes. So why the pretty dresses? Why are they on a bridge? Why the big distance between them? Are they racing? Is one chasing the other? Are they both making a get away and one got left behind? And what does "live a little a lot" mean? This is the most meaningless gibberish I've ever seen in a commercial.
At the end of the commercial, as they drive off the blond is gone from the frame and nowhere near the car. I love this commercial but that technical tidbit in the end kills it.
true, but if you look closely, there is also a totally different lighting set up (no shadows, compared to the hard shadows during the rest of the commercial) which would suggest an ellipsis in time.
I think what it is is that he pulls up and sees a girl running, then picks up the girl that first girl is chasing. Assuming that the first girl is either exgirlfriend or wife of the guy chasing the his new girl down. Hence, the "living a lot" part of it.
Good explanation, I thought that at first too. But another explanation is that they're both random women. He slows down to check out the hot blonde as a mere observer, hence "live a little." He then decides to stop his car and join the action by picking up the girl that's being chased so she'd be indebted to him, hence "live a lot."
Does "LIve a little" mean look at the pretty girl and "Live a lot" mean pick up the pretty girl? That is, you have a nice car so you -can- live a lot? (Hope that makes sense! This commercial really confused me.) Oh, and why are they running?

There are 3 commercials that tell a story.
All of them are on you tube.
The order is;
"Running"
"Hop In"
"Look Out"

the girl in black is running in wedge sandals. These commercials make no sense whatsoever. Nice car though.

This commercial doesn't make sense at all. I hate it. I hate Lexus for this.

Wouldn't it better to pick up both girls? That would be living a lot. And he should use a net to catch the girls and text while he's driving.
Also, eyeshadow, he should put on eyeshadow while he's driving. That would be a lot.
