Amazing talent, song writing is brilliant. These guys should have been big time. There must have been problems in management, promotion. It wasnt a problem in effort on the musicians. They rock bigtime.Awsome shit.
These guys still rock after after all these years! I met the drummer after seeing a concert this summer. This song was a top ten hit in Canada and top 40 U.S.. Honestly, in the days of rock that have once again arrived
don't be surprised if you hear a hit from these guys before the year is over (or next spring!)
Bought the CD second-hand - and got disappointed. Except for this one, great pop metal single I already was familiar with. So what the f**k: I do not care if this band sucks or not - here we've got a brilliant tune in its own genre!
These guys played at the Western Idaho Fair in Boise, ID when I was in High School. I think 87 or 88. Played two shows in one night..they were free, I was at both shows.. the first was so excellent that I had to do it all again... Great music. I see someone posted that they have a new album comeing out.. will have to check that out. Thanks for that info.. and thanks for posting the video!
cupco68, they are still very active in canada, they perform regularily at high end bars and classic rock festivals throughout canada, they are still a kick ass band...they are excellent live, and the boys will have a beer and bullshit with you. Last time i saw em was in edmonton, they opened for dee snider and were by far the better band...
I saw them in Barrington too. I'd go see them anyday. Canadian Rock used to be totally awesome...back when Much Music played Music..and Erica Ehm ruled the airways.
back to the time s where canadian rock ruled. love this song and album. there some pop whiny chick using the H S name can you say copyright? honeymoon suite rush truimph prims also nova saga. cant get much better
K-Rock 103.9 FM in Corner Brook, NL plays an edited version of this song...the first 22 seconds are deleted, and that's not right; I strongly prefer this full-length version.
Lead Singer Johnny Dee A another good freind.. I am glad that you posted this video.. It's to bad that WEA Records Drop this band..Just shows you another record company that burns bands.. Note to Warner Records... Next Time.. Spend more money in the USA with our Canadian Bands... Just maybe you will have more success with our bands!!!
I saw this band several times at lulu's in kitchener, the best time was when the singer had his drunk brother get up and sing a stones song. He fell on his back and kept on singing and the rest of the band layed on their backs and played along. They were almost never allowed back because of that. you guys rock!!!
I don't think there was a video for "Tears on the Page". I love this song also. Try writing to the Honeymoon Suite fanclub for a second opinion! Google "Honeymoon suite" and you will find their official website. Good luck!
yes yes!!! something about this song drives me nuts,,i never tire of it.maybe we have the same genes or are atoms vibrate at the same frequency!! would be nice to compare notes on other songs.
I saw them at the Ex on Sat Aug 18/07 and it was just and AWESOME show. Original Band lineup and they haven't lost a beat. Derry Grehan is just insane on stage!
docpc58, couldn't agree more ! music from the 60´s to the late 80´s/early 90´s were (as you say) the time the rock n roll bands actually could play their instruments !
When music was still music and there was still talent out there. Not the garbage they call music today. These guys actually knew how to play instruments
