''Dangerous Minds'' was also based on a true story salonica09. It's based upon the book  called- ''My Posse Don't Do Homework.'' by LouAnne Johnson. The book was retitled ''Dangerous Minds.'' in 1995. and she has has a website were you can email her questions about the movie. I did. and she told the producers ignored every word that she said. She says the book is based on real events and real students.The movie isn't.
