I remember when I was like seven and my brother showed me this site, and ever since then I was going on and pasting images onto paint and just looking at them in total awe because I thought they were the best ever. It inspired me to create, draw and design but one day I went on to have another look at the pictures and that annoying woman looked back at me... that was the day my childhood ended.
Nice tribute to Steve Redfearn, who is now concentrating on his music I believe. Also included were images by Mick Imrie and Conrad Slater, both very talented gentlemen.
Cool. Its too bad. Those digited arms could be useful to a Dalek. They could be technician Daleks. Do you have any pictures of the unused "Spider Daleks?" I saw the concept art on the Dalek wikipedia page. And the comic strip variation Daleks?
The "Spider Daleks" were supposed to be used in the 1996 Doctor Who tv film but were left out. There are also the two leggen "Marsh Daleks" from the comics.
I think that particular film is best forgotten, to be honest...no spider-legged Daleks, no Daleks, none of the famous monsters we all love and fear...none of anything. Just a crap storyline with no substance. I heard a rumour the BBC was in negotiations with some big movie company to make a new movie...let's hope it's better than the last one...
Yeah. Plus if that film is ignored, then the Doctor has one more regeneration! The lack of Daleks really dragged it down. Plus the attempt to Americanize Doctor Who, because it was co-produced by Spielberg's company. I realize British and Americans speak the same language, but there are major culture barriers.
Its too bad Hammer Films is no longer around. If there was going to be another Doctor Who film they would be my first choice.
Not Bad , i can see you used almost all of the CGI images from Redders Dalek website which can be clearly found on Dalek Links , i too love the CGI images from Dalek Links , Steve Redfarn who makes them is fantastic , the special Dalek veriations he has made using the new series Dalek design ive actually used to repaint and create into my own Dalek army in the colour scheme of the original 1975 Genesis of the Daleks variation of gunmetal grey and black , Well Done .

Ah, now Hammer!!! There was a British institution (just like Dr Who really), or the Carry On films in their prime...
Yes, Hammer would have been (and would be) a good choice...
Bez1960 3 years ago
Indeed. I grew up watching Hammer horror films. Classics, every one. But these days it probably go to Pathe or Canal+.
