i think all middle east country have this version...because i do.....this is one of my favorite songs in the game....up until a second ago i thought it was an African song or something. i knew it wasn't Arabic....of coarse the Quran is written and recited in many different languages.

Sony had every right to have the song in the game but the muslims had every right to oppose it. If the game included something that offended you (like calling your mom fat JK but its still offensive as is having words in the koran in music)wouldnt you want it taken out. I found this recalled version today at the local Gamestop. I Was very surprised to see it there (BTW, for those of you wondering how to determine the difference between the recalled-version and re-released version, look on the back of the case. If it shows a DTS symbol above the Rating, it is the Recalled Version). Sad to say, Sony released a Patch online that blocks out the so-called "Offensive" lyrics. So, there was basically no point of me buying it, other than having it as a collectors item.

that is not true for a lot of christians. some actually know it for sure and live for it (my family). might be different for different parts of the world though. i know muslims who dont know their religion too. i had a lot of them at my school and i spoke to the while preaching the christian hope.

you're totally right about what you're saying. i was christaned as a baby, but i am so far from being christian its un true, im completely atheist. i hate the fact that religion takes over our lives. whats the point? if we had no religions at all then the world would be a much happier place. little things like taking lyrics out really pisses me off. so what if somebody may find it offensive? they're only words, we all know the saying sticks and stones... people take too much to heart these days.

The "free will" idea takes responsibility away from God so that all evil things are by fault of either humans or Satan. Paradise Lost is an extremely long-winded but prime example of how it works and the so-called logic behind it. What I never understood was how God could fore-know the misery that free will would create and he would still let it happen. (I don't believe any of this crap, it's just what I've come to understand.)
