It's the currnt political system that requires candidates to secure large amounts of money, by owing favors to bad people, in order to finace their election campaigns. Also, unemployment steadily declined until the year 2000. It wasn't its lowest ever between 2000 and 2006. You can't just make things up and expect not to be called on it.

Yeah, that's true. The Democratic-led Congress really screwed us by going into Iraq, keeping us there indefinitely, ignoring Afghanistan, allowing war profiteering, encouraging war profiteering, privatizing and deregulating air travel and energy, blocking children's health care, delaying legislation to deal with the housing crisis, and all of those other things they've done since they've been in power since 2000.

Hey I remember some democrats agreeing with the president about going into Iraq and don't you remember when the unemployment rate was the lowest its ever been in history, back in 2000-06 I sure do, what ever happened to that. I also remember gas prices at $2.00 a gallon not $4.00 and I remember when the economy wasn't in a recession.
