Here's the deal. If you play w/ pad, not stick, neither PS3 or 360 controller can even touch a fight pad w/ the character's portrait. Beside controller, 360's SF4 has more bang for your buck-if you don't like the game sound track, you can change it while you play. 360's game runs slightly faster and loads way faster w/o wasting precious harddrive space by downloading into system. What makes P3's SF4 better than 360?-ppl still haven't given a good answer to this besides controller...

Xbox's made in 2005-2006 do have the upscaler chip. The chip was REVEALED in 2007. What part of revealed don't you understand? ANA comes with non HDMI xbox consoles, HANA comes with HDMI xbox consoles.

Overheating can break the chip but I don't care because I have my xbox in a well ventilated area and I usually don't play for hours straight. It doesn't kill the system unless you are not careful.

The PS3 version of SF4 has a resolution between 720P and 630P. Sometimes (Probably when there is a lot of action) the PS3 version switches from 720P to upscaled 630P. That is really weird in my opinion. And SF4 doesn't run 1080P on PS3. The box of the PS3 version says 480P and 720P. The Xbox version has a consistent 720P, but it can be upscaled to a higher resolution thanks to it's upscaler chip.

The difference is hard to notice until it it pointed out to you.

Personally, you should get these two great games for the PS3. The main reason is the re playability factor. If you get it for the 360, the online lobby will be filled for 2 months, and then shortly after that, the stupid Xbots will flock to another one of their mediocre shooters and leave the lobby dustier than Joan River's cunt. However, the PSN network is more diverse when it comes to gaming. You will find that a lot of people will still play the game after the 5 month. Thats the way its been.

i believe akuma will be in Street Fighter IV. i think capcom will make akuma a playable character when Street Fighter IV hits the consoles but he will not be in the arcade. as for evil ryu, im sure that will not happen due to the story line of street fighter.

as for the consoles, i personally dont own a PS3 but i think the PS3 will be the better choice will fighting games. as for the price, a blue ray player can cost up to $400. buying a PS3 will get you a gaming console and blueray in one deal

i'm still researching on comparing the 2 systems, as i don't have either one yet either. but for the most part as you can probably tell, i am also behind ps3. hehe, i never mentioned that ps3 is defenitely the more beautiful one lol. i mean, look at it.

oh yeah and the 360 elite already has 120GB and is priced at $450. while ps3's backwards compatible with ps2 games version thats 80GB is $500.

but i trust sony knows what they're doing. don't i'll think use even close to 80GB.

sorry for double post, but here are more decision altering subjects.

CONTROLLER

the ps3's d-pad makes some games, ESPECIALLY classic fighter games (like street fight and king of fighters) much easier to play with their complex inputs for certain moves.

HD(1080i/p)

both systems can produce games with 1080i/p, but it is easier for people to make 1080i/p games for ps3 cuz of it's graphics engine. this sometimes results in 1080 games for ps3 looking a little more crystal clear and cut than 360.

currently has more exculsives than ps3(has been out for one more year than ps3).

Online connectivity is the most advanced out of the 3. Online gameplay has been described as "the other player is right next to you".

is expecting a release of a 120GB hard drive(highest ps3 memory being 80GB).

suffers red ring of death phenomenon. released with a 3 year warranty i think(ps3 is a a guarenteed ten year system).

does not come with built in wi-fi connection.(ps3 does).

both do have their advantages. i'm gonna try to say this with no bias.

PS3

the most technologically advanced system out of the 3. it's able to take the hd technology from it's incorporated blu-ray engine and apply it to it's games.

has 75 exclusives coming between now and the end of 2009.

it's dualshock 3 retains vibration while incorporating sixaxis motion control(not in 360)

ps HOME is more evolved than wii mii's or xbox live when it comes to online community interaction.

Seeing as how your really into fighter, I'd say go with Ps3, both consoles are great, but you seem to be leaning more towards Ps3

I am leaning toward the PS3 but I would like to get the Xbox 360 because I never had the Xbox or the 360 so having a new game system

will be new to me.

Another thing, if you're planning to play online then prepare to pay for a yearly subscription for LIVE. If you don't wanna pay, then I suggest get a PS3

Both are good consoles, but I think you should get the PS3. The d-pad makes it better for fighting games
