  • Rust out? Why would you want to make an awesome looking bike look like complete shit? You could have bought an old bike in the junk yard if you wanted that kind of look. lol

  • If you had your bike dyno'd, what was the power/torque increase? Thanks in advance. Have an 07 Nightster that is looking to get new pipes. =)

  • how tall are you? im 6 feet and dont know if the 48 is too small for someone my size.

  • A metallic black tank would be better,it is a very nice and powerful motorcycle.Good man...

  • you have one of the most beautiful bikes i have ever seen

  • This may be a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway! Do you think this bike is to small to have a passenger? I really like this style of bike and I want to be able to ride around with my bitch on the back!

  • Nice bike, but rust on it is just not for me...

Still, to each it's own as long u take good care of the baby HD.

  • @changrider so far no rust just oil er up once and a while

  • @GoodnightTechnology Cool, u could give it a coat of clear, keep the bare metal look and no rust!

  • Do you need to change the tuner if you put the V&H on? Because i've been waiting 3 months for my tuner and have my V&H sitting on the workshop floor.Help!

  • @MrSpinner1975 i would recommend the harley race tuner... i ended up having a bad experience with the power commander

  • thats the proper sound i hate the sound mine makes sounds like a 125 4 stroke , where can i get that exaust ?

  • Sick bike dude. You've definitely given me some ideas going forward with my 48. Keep up the good work.

  • hey sick 48 man! just bought the 2011 and was curious if the power commander v was easy to install on it ? Is there anything i need to know the you found out about it?

  • @dirtkicker451 it was easy to do. just take your time. all plug and play so you dont need to cut anything. download the map for it from their site.

  • You answer my question to the other guy that changed his handlebar and demo the ride but most I notice is the sound of his pipe, which is sweet. I asked him if they're V&H Short Shots. They look exactly like yours and according to you they're V&H Shorts Shorts. Super! I'm decided what to replace mine. Thanks very much.

  • I stripped all my tins on my forty eight down to bare metal and i think it looks bad ass i also have a suicide clutch and jockey shift, internal throttle, and i have a proportioning valve in the rear master cylinder to run both front and rear brakes. I also put 17" Z apes and strutted out the rear. Im digging the PBR shit man. Keep it up bro it looks good

  • With no baffles did you have to re jet the carb?

  • what method did you use to strip down your tank? sandpaper? sand blast? paint remover (if so which brand)?

  • Stripped the tank for rusting? IDIOT. What..? H-D doesn't know how to assemble a motorcycle. Retard...

  • @skwiddjergensen thanks for your comment. thanks for taking time out of your day to watch and comment on three of my videos.

  • @GoodnightTechnology I love what you have done with your bike, its your own style, and thats the whole point of owning these machines, good for you man, love it!!

  • @skwiddjergensen another little bitch that cant afford a new harley.

  • should make more videos of add one for harley 48

  • Very nice job, Is that the stock, peanut tank that came with the bike? Well done sanding it down. The big SPORTSTER on the side of the tank is the only thing they really missed when putting this bike together.

  • Didn't finish there, sorry. I'm sanding my tank down an I remember in the past they go yellow/ ry

  • Agree with the tank. Looks great. Question: did you seal it or will you seal it eventually? What did you use if you did seal it. I'm f

  • u want the tank to rust?

  • Nice! How did you strip your tank?

  • did you remove the standard baffles that came with the shortshots?

  • @JInocentes01 yep i did. there is just one screw holding them in. you can take them out or add them back in very easily

  • how tall are you

  • Did you do a download or race tuner? Harley Davidson is telling me I need a race tuner and I dont wan to waste the $300 if I dont need it. Thanks

  • @ac9231 i did the air cleaner, pipes and a power commander V all at the same time. i will say i ran the bike for about a week with the new pipes and air cleaner but no power commander and it ran about the same as it does now. but since it is fuel injected youll probably be more happy with performance if you do all three things. the power commander is the "race tuner" that harely was talking about would be my guess

  • Gnite, thanks for the tip, im going to strip it, you mentioned you lowered it a bit...curious how> i want to get mine an inch or so lower, rear and front ends if its possible, did you do yours and how?

  • @ProveItProductions id say best way is google it... there a bunch of ways to get it lower some better than others. the tank yes was prob the best thing i did to the bike so far. personally i hated the stock paint job

  • very nice!

  • Good job on getting rid that small tank, looks awesome. Be sure to post any other mods.

  • Hi!Goodnight

nice bike and very cool sound

    Where is Exhaust sold?

  • @turbo0001 got the exhaust on jpcycle

  • @turbo0001 i got the exhaust on jp cycles but i think you can get it other places.

  • Hey Gnight,

Sick ride. The 48 is so sick. I want to strip my tank and lower it, im afraid of bottoming out something, can you tell me what you did to strip the tank and lower the bike?

  • @ProveItProductions for the tank you can use paint stripper and a little hard work with sand paper. it takes a while as the stock paint job has many layers of clear coat. or you can use a sand blaster. i ended up using orbital sander and paint stripper because i wanted the swirls in the metal

  • looks great! very industrial !

  • Great Bike! tank looks great are you going to seal the tank with a clear coat or a matte finish........just read about the foil 48........when you are finished it will stand out and be noticed great idea.......Harley should have put a 48 design on it in the first place.......but that is why a bike looks good when you put your own touch to it. Good job......be safe.

  • dude put some baffles in it....you're motor will like you for it and it should sound almost the same. you're losin' mad back pressure runnin it like that.

  • NIce bike bro, looks sweet, nice sound

  • dammit! i had intentions on stripping my tank just like that. looks just as awesome i pictured it. very nice bike man

  • @bmb7198 do it. i think it was the best thing i did so far on the bike.

  • That's the sweetest 48 i've seen yet. The tank looks sick just like that. You should rub some 50 weight on it. Nice!

  • thanks the tank was really easy to do. I plan on putting gold foil lettering on it saying "forty eight"

  • nice bike dude ! AND THE SOUND holy mackerel !

  • I love this tank!!
