maybe its just me but im a level 27 illusion/thief/archer wood elf and for some reason i can never kill a dragon. i always have to run to the nearest town and have the gaurds kill them. any advise?

@Joshh2k10 Use your bow, and when it lands switch to swords / daggers, and attack at his side (wings). Head and tail do damage so try to avoid it. When your low hp just get behind some cover (rocks, buildings etc) and heal up with pots or healing spells. This works atleast for me.

Lol. Earlier today I was going to tell the red guards about the woman's location(she's in the bar, sweeping up) and I encountered a dragon. It was nearly dead, and it landed to kill mammoths. But the mammoths killed it instead, and then killed me. So I reloaded save and then a giant killed it! Why run to villages when nature kills it for you? Great vid btw

@Phoenix9756 When I was level 13 I had 17 dragon souls. I made my money by hunting them, they're so easy. I'm level 22 now with full Daedric and over 10k coins with 30 something dragon souls. I play on the highest difficulty aswell, this game is really too easy.

1.) make 2 daedric sworlds and equip them

2.) find a dragon, and use dragonrend shout on it

3.) while it's on the ground, beat the fuck out of it!

4.) (optional) get overcumbered by the dragon bones and scales

How to kill a Dragon:

1.) Find a dragon

2.) Hide behind a tree

3.) Every time he lands on the ground,step away a bit from the tree,and shoot arrows

4.) Every time the dragon trys to kill you,burn you,hide behind the tree again

And i think the best way to kill dragons is to get your enchanting and alchemy then take fortify potions on enchanting and smithing then make kick ass daggers with over 400 damage, when you have a high level sneak you can get 15x damage for sneak attacks on daggers, once you've gotten that go join the

@bj11755 That's pathetic what difficutly do you play on ? I play on regular (adept) and I can kill an elder dragon. I'm lvl 43 with legendary dragon scale armor and 91 archery. Everytime the dragon is done with his attack and he flies up and around for a bit use fast healing.

you can pretty muchhave a frost/flame atronach tank the dragon.Without being damaged from ther breath due to elemental immunity, they can take 1-4 hits while you roast/cut/freeze your dragon meal.

Just do the main quest and learn the shout Dragonrend. The main quest isn't too difficult, and if you go into the Sky Haven Temple side room (on your right when entering the chamber containing Alduin's Wall), you can get the Blades sword, Dragonbane, which does 20 extra damage to dragons. I'm at 100 smithing and after I improved Dragonbane, it did higher damage than my Legendary-grade daedric war axe, allowing me to kill dragons in one landing at difficulty level Expert.

@koldar505 Whatever you can afford. Since you're level 4, as you say, i don't think you can afford high tier ones as ebony/glass, etc. Basically i think you should use the best bow you have, and if you have a chance, improve it on a grinding stone.

As for arrows, any you are able to loot. I have tons of different arrows but i still haven't switched to anything better than iron.
