I am a junior in high school now, and since 5th grade i've lost 4 people to cancer, my most recent being two days ago. This song hits home hard..but i love it..

Thank you for this song. My daddy died Oct. 12, 2007 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 66. Tomorrow is his birthday and Sat. would have been his and my mom's 50th anniversary. Also, my 48 year old brother passed away on July 10,2009 from Leukemia after being diagnosed only 1 month before.

This really helped me.. I lost my Aunt to Lymphoma Cancer, I'd like to tell you why this helped me so much.. My Aunt was one of the most amazing people I've ever known. She had been working very hard to get her teaching degree. Well, a couple months before her passing, the college admin came to honor her with her certifercate, she was so proud. I miss her so much.. I got to hold her hand one last time, a week before her passing. And I'll never understand why it had to be her. Thank you, so much.

You should also check-out "SingerSinceBearth" original song "A Fight for Survival". She wrote the song for her 16 year old cousin who is fighting a terminal cancer.

This really helped me.. I lost my Aunt to Lymphoma Cancer, I'd like to tell you why this helped me so much.. My Aunt was one of the most amazing people I've ever known. She had been working very hard to get her teaching degree. Well, a couple months before her passing, the college admin came to honor her with her certifercate, she was so proud. I miss her so much.. I got to hold her hand one last time, a week before her passing. And I'll never understand why it had to be her. Thank you, so much.

this is amazing.
i just found out today that my uncles cancer is spreading and hes going to die in a few days. this song really touches me. and my grandma as well has alzheimers. shes still alive. but she doesn't remember me anymore. her husband (my grandpa) died of cancer as well. i understand what your goig through and this is an emotional song. love it.

Does have a little Floyd flavor. Sounds great. Lost my mom to cancer 5 years ago, it's tough. I wouldn't wish what my mom went thru on my worst enemy. She was an awesome alto singer, I like to think there's a little of her in my vocals. Keep up the good work
