  • he never beat cleve dean :D

  • @mladen83db Yea he did in 1994. It is online.

  • this right here is my HERO!

  • FANTASTIC SUPER MAN!!!

    and a great FIGHTER!!!!

  • beating brzenk and lupkes at thier prime and in great shape and also cleve dean with ro bath i say goodridge is the man i want to see a nemiroff between john brzenk and lupkes and goodridge and voevoda along with cleve dean plus larratt and cyplenkov and bagent and everyone in thier primes i my self go to that nemiroff even if it cost me all my money loool

  • damn! all respect for goodridge

  • ВОт оказывается от куда Гари Гудрич пришел)

  • I say behind Arsen because Arsen is number one in my book its just a matter of time till he proves as much as I love Brzenk he will feel the friction of the pad when he meets with Arsen. Very seldom have i seen somebody of Arsen's Calibre before

  • @iconoclast82 in top shape I think Goodridge and brzenk would both beat Arsen right now I think Arsen would beat Larratt.

  • @agratias716 I also think so. Styles do count, in my opinion; for example, Arsen cannot beat Denis, Denis has many problems against John, Jonh problems agaist Arsen, Devon could probably lose to Arsen, I thin he is a very dangerous rival for Larratt.

  • And opened Cleve Dean's hand his hands were like paws..The only other person i'v seen do that to him was Arciero

  • That is the biggest fucken hand I have ever seen!

  • yeah he is ron bath

  • was that Ron Bath at 0:31???

  • I personally put him 3rd best ever behind John and Devon Larratt (that's not pound for pound though). I'd love to see him from 1995 pull Larratt from today.

  • I couldnt believe the way he went through Lupkes in that match there Of course Lupkes beat him much more but still that was something and it was in quick time too

  • I think he would defeat Larratt to be honest a peak Goodridge his style would trouble the life out of Larratt - After all Lupkes and Goodridge were Brzenk's worst nightmares during their day ..If Gary was around todays era he would easily be in the top 4 I would put him in 2nd place behind Arsen JMO

  • ppppptttt.. get an idea dude.... gary beat john what 3 times in his career? whoop-dee-do. so did farid, devon, bagent, and a handfull of others. does that make them the greatest of all time too? you couldn't spot a real champion if one fell into your lap. compitition is a little stiffer these days. goodridge was great but he's no legend.

  • I think John beat Gary 6 or9 other times. John is the best ever hands down. Espically if you consider his weight.

  • 4 at least there was 1 time that wasn't in this video. Farid? 3 times? He beat him once in Las Vegas when John chose to go in a hook with him. He had already murdered Farid via toproll before that but he wanted to feel Farid where he was the strongest. Then I think Farid beat John at the Nemiroff cup one time? When was the 3rd time?

When has Bagent beaten Brzenk, I know he did once in their supermatch in Japan...? Goodridge is a legend and he's returning, training now, competing in March 2010.

  • What an exciting event it will be with Goodridge I hope and pray he reaches his optimum level as hard as it may be because if he does...trust me he will create such havoc...Had he stayed on and never gave up we would have had another movie titled 'Pulling Gary' What a legend

  • @HandelandJ "I personally put him 3rd best ever behind John and Devon Larratt (that's not pound for pound though). I'd love to see him from 1995 pull Larratt from today." Are u crazy?? Devon Larratt 2 position ever?ahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahah u are soooo funny 1-Voevoda 2004 and John Brzenk at his peak 2-Richard Lupkes at his best 3-Gary goodridge 4-Cleave Dean 5-Alan Karaev 6-Arsen Lilivev (who should still reach his peak) 7-Larratt PERIOD

  • @MrFedor4life

    1) I posted that BEFORE I saw Underwood give Larratt trouble at the Arnold, and before I saw Earl Wilson give Larratt trouble at MGC.

    2) Brzenk says Goodridge, Lupkes, Voevoda, Larratt, and Scott Norton are the best ever (not including himself)

  • @MrFedor4life

Brzenk also said Denis would beat Cleve Dean from his prime RIGHT HANDED.

    And Denis destroyed Arsen

He should be on your list

  • @HandelandJ honestly i doubt he said that, because brzenk lost many times to cleave dean before he understand the trick to beat him (but u should know that denis hasn't the technique of john) so cleave dean beated many times john while dennis cyp never beat him...

And 4 what concern Arsen and denis we will see very soon in nemiroff, but 4 me right handed arsen a 95kg is the best...(obv left handed there isn't competition)

  • @MrFedor4life

John beat Cleve dean when he walked around under 200, he was 227 when he last faced Denis and Denis got 1 win on him. So sorry that you weren't on the MIke Gould Classic Live Feed when John was talking to us and said that, but why the fuck would I lie?

And you never said that was your pound for pound best list, if your list is best ever pound for pound then you did horrible. If it's best overall, Arsen should be below Denis.

  • @HandelandJ it's the best overall, and i told u again,we will see at nemiroff in few days,if cyp will beat arsen at 95kg no problem,i will put him below denis...

4 what concern denis vs brzenk...are u joking?? john owned him in the first 5 match, then he lost the last just because he was tired,in the last match john didnt pull...

  • @MrFedor4life

    1) Arsen isn't going to Nemiroff

    2) Hahaha yeah 20-30 second matches are really ownage aren't they? Brzenk's wrist was bent back in round 5... wonder why that was if he was soooo dominate over Denis? Brzenk was icing his arm after every match starting after round 2... wonder why he would be doing that since he was winning sooooo easily. And in the final match John himself said his forearm was too blown up to do anything, but I guess we'll just say he was so dominate he gave up lol

  • @HandelandJ are u crazy or what else???? YES JOHN DOMINATE DENIS IN 5 MATCH PERIOD.everyone knows that, look at the video,he lost the last because he was tired after a tough tournament like the nemiroff is...if it was a vendetta match he won 6 0 even more easily...

However damn job,i read now the news,Arsen was 100 x 100 ready 4 this nemiroff,i still hope he will come...

  • @MrFedor4life

"he lost the last because he was tired after a tough tournament like the nemiroff is...if it was a vendetta match he won 6 0 even more easily..."

It WAS a Vendatta match!!! What are you talking about?

  • @HandelandJ i was confused about the final match at nemiroff,u right the 5 1 was a vendetta match, however it's clear he dominate the first 5 match, the last was useless and he was tired so he didn't pull and he lost without engage himself

  • @MrFedor4life

and for the record I am picking John to win the overall now since Arsen is not going. John will go through the 95kg class and will be fresh and Denis will destroy his arm pulling Pushkar, same as last year, leaving the open class open to John (and Rustam could possibly take 2nd again). If Denis doesn't destroy his arm pulling Pushkar (meaning he goes through Pushkar) then I don't see him losing to anybody. Nobody can DESTROY Pushkar... yet

  • @HandelandJ After that nemiroff i should absolutely put Denis before Larratt and Liliev,he's a monster

  • @MrFedor4life

yes... but Pushkar flashed him once in the finals of the open class. IMHO Denis, Andrey, Jerry C. and healthy John Brzenk are top 4 in the World right now right handed.

  • @HandelandJ and larratt?? i thinked u loved him XD

  • @MrFedor4life

huh? What made you think that? I respect John's opinion and John said Devon's top 5 of all time, but I personally would not put Devon in top 5 of all time or currently despite that. Maybe top 10 of all time, idk

  • @MrFedor4life Looking at the style he develops on the table, I would say that Arsen Liliev can beat Larratt. In my opinion that is the most dangerous style for him.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • I know Garry Goodridge was the best right handed armwreslter in the world for a couple years - how was his left arm? The best? One of the best? Could he beat Eric Woelfel left handed>

  • is that a woman that Goodridge is wresting at 0:33

  • funny reffere at 1.41

  • Gary Goodridge is the fkn man. how strong was he!?! wish he never left armwrestling.

  • This is what Richard Lupkes said "Gary Goodridge has a hook like a freight train. You have to be on your best day to beat him."

And Lupkes is a legend himself, John Brzenk says Lupkes has the most raw strength of anybody he's ever gone against.
