  • this video wouldn't play smoothly for me, hiroshi, is anything wrong with it for anyone else?

  • @johnnyrebel16 There is nothing I can do to help you on that kind of problem. My videos are relatively small in file size (this video should be somewhere around 10MB). May be you should try it later.

  • I love the guitar!

  • @DEADTIMEtoday It is very handy one.

  • WOW is all I gotta say man! Makes me feel like i'm chillin around a bonfire sippin on a beer. Absolutely soothing!!! Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you. As aidanh88 told you, it's Yamaha Silent guitar SLG100-NW.

  • dude i am your biggest fan. You should make a CD

  • Thank you for becoming my fan. I do have a CD that include this arrangement. Check the link in the song description section or the album icons on my YouTube top channel page.

  • So beautiful, Teach me! :D

  • Thank you.

  • I don't think I've ever seen better little finger technique than you...

  • It is Yamaha SLG-100NW. It is a very handy guitar.

  • Thank you. I haven't written this out yet.

  • This one's great too... i love it

  • Thank you.

  • wow!!

  • Thank you!

  • lovely. very cool. did you arrange that yourself?

  • Thank you. Yes, I did.

  • Excellent. Very nice.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you.

  • I'm a big fan of Paul Simon and I think you're playing his songs better than he does... :)

  • He was my hero and still is.

  • very nice. Any chance you can forward the arrangement. Thats one of my favourite songs.

  • Thank you. I haven't written this out yet.

  • YES ... please provide your great arrangement. I am a big fan of fingerstyle and cannot wait to learn this.

  • I will need to do that soon since I'm forgetting some parts already.

  • Excellent!!! Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you and you're welcome.

  • That was excellent. The intro is particularly well done. Sounds like a West African guitar intro. Great job and thanks

  • Thank you. Paul Simon was trying all kinds of ethnic rhythms those days, and he actually made an album years later titled "Grace Land".

  • Beautiful rendition of that song. What kind of guitar are you playing in this video? It looks like a classical neck with no body, but I don't see any electric pickups. How is the sound generated?

  • Thank you. It has a pickup under the bridge. It is designed for late-night or hotel room practicing. It is a handy one with good enough sound for PC speakers.

  • How wonderful!! I am wondering whether if you like Jim Croce? If you do, I'd like to hear you play his music in the future. I have played some of your tabs and enjoyed them very much. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Thank you. Yes, I know Jim Croce, and I might play some of his music in future.

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • Thank you.

  • Man, that's beautiful.

  • Thank you.

  • please write tab bro lol this is one of my favourite songs

  • I will in future.

  • Thank you.

  • YES!!!

thats my favourite paul simon song ever

and u just made it better than his!

  • Thank you. This is my favorite Paul Simon song too.

  • MINE TOO!!!!

  • There are several other Pal Simon songs I would like to try in future.

  • "Kodachrome" if you don't play that already.

  • May be in future.

  • wow. makes me wish I could play. very good.

  • Thank you. Wishing is a good start, I think.

  • very nice arrangement and you play it very well. I'm really impressed with your talent. and I'm enjoying the scores you have made available. Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind a question...what software do you use to write your scores.

  • Thank you. I use Finale by MakeMusic (Former Coda). I export the score pages to PostScript files and do some final touching in Illustrator. Although, this program isn't the easiest one, I am happy with results.

  • I have to agree, the results are very nice and the scores are very easy to read. Much better than Pro Tab. I've been looking for a good program.

Do you play by ear or are you classically trained?

  • Finale used to be a very expensive software. It still isn't cheap, but it can make files ready for publishing.

I am self-taught. I do play classical music but never have been formally trained.

  • You are very good....who says you can't learn by yourself. Thanks for talking with me. Keep it going

  • It takes sometime to learn something when you are self-taught, but more you struggle, you learn more.

  • can i have the tabs please! Great job on all of your songs. they sound great

  • Thank you. Since it is a new arrangement, some details are not solid yet. I will make a score when it's done. I have some other scores I am requested to make, so it may take a little while.

  • okay,thanks

  • I will do my best.

  • Your'e amazing, paul simon is one of my favorite artist's I almoast love all his songs /Simon

  • Another nice performance. Thanks.

How many hours do you put in on practice and playing per day.

  • Thank you. I play as much as I can.
