  • im playing this on trumpet for nysma!

  • Bloody fantastic! Wow. Love it.

  • Anyone knows the exact name of this composition?

  • I saw this theme performed tonigh on a harpsichord, viola and flute. Anyone knows the name of it?

  • They´re variations on "Las Folias de España", a popular spanish theme. A lot of composers have used this theme to compose variations, (even Vivaldi). ;)

  • Great sound quality. :)

I've just begun to learn this on the viola.

  • BRILLIANT!

I'm only a beginning violist, but I like the etudes so much, that I already ordered a copy at my local music shop ... apparently it's only a part one ... does part one contain all eight etudes shown here?

    Why isn't number five here?

Will a score of the Marain-Knox Follia be available as well?

I want to say which one my favourite is, but it just changes every time I listen and watch.

I'm definitely checking the cd as well!

    Thank you for sharing this.

  • Glad you like them! Yes, volume 1 has all eight studies in the solo version. Coming next are the versions for 2 or 3 violas, and the volume after that will be the Marin Marais quartet.

The video of no 5 is coming soon, then some videos of the duos and trios will be posted.

  • ... you're so crazy!!! :D :D

  • sorry...not so....
