Awesome video but why do people always feel the need to put crappy music over the natural sounds of flight.

No. trust me I lived on this Exact base and worked in this exact squadron(VFA-122 "the flying eagles). It gets really old hearing them. Esspecially when youre trying to sleep!

one good thing though...they rarely fly on the weekends.

I think the Super Hornet's a great plane and all but it just doesn't overshadow the Tomcat's engage 6 at a time, 54 mile missile range with the Phoenix missile. Now thats what i call area denial, i just don't see the Super Hornet replacing that ability for the next 30 to 40 years. Eventually were gonna need a true modern Navy jet fighter replacement.
