@MPArmstrong84 No it still is, but the kind of socialism preached by the socialist party is a worker controlled kind. The Stalinist shit you speak of is central planning where the state operates on behalf of the people but this can become a very corrupt beauracracy, so the communist party (in "communist" countries) should take radical measures to make the system harder to exploit, more stable, and then strive for worker controlled industry.( read my next comment)

Moore?..Nader?...McKinney?...I listended to the SDA and CPUSA and others like them and voted Obama. I do regret it now....but in a state where Nader,Moore and McKinney were not on the ballot it seemed logical. ANyway, where do we go from here? I will support and join the SPUSA and see ....

Vote Nader. Im sure Brian is a good guy and all, a good humanitarian, but he knows close to nothing about socialism, I was so eager to vote SPUSA but then I heard him debate the Libertarians and he was just plain embarrassing.

What were doing with Nader, push the Democrats to take more progressive issues, has never had as much potential for success than this time, we are in more state ballots, more supporters and more money than ever before, and doing great in the polls (3-4%)
