When I was just 4 years old, my father bought an RCA SHF-4 which was a floor console with a 6v6 amp, 2 x 12 cab with two tweeters. I didn't know what it was then, but I know now. And with it he brought home twenty 45 RPM records, all from the top 20 on the charts, ie: at the Hop, Raunchy, Short Shorts. All I did was watch it play, and it sounded fantastic!
@maynardcat RCA should have stuck with the Sonotones. I have a 1960 RCA stereo with an Astatic, and it is not even close to being flat through the frequency range. I tried to replace with an 8t Sonotone, but the fit was not possible.
HI Miguel You had better take care of that record. I just found one on ebay no. 320443099388 listed for almost 100.00. I guess they are collectible. I think I had better brush up on record collecting, something I know little about.
I, also, have the original LP of this Mancini music, along with a lot more of the same kind of music. A lot of Broadway shows and movie soundtracks. I have been storing approximately 3000 LP's for years. I guess it is time for me to learn how to "eBay".
What well-balanced reproduction! What mature yet fresh music!

Beautiful player! Does this model use a Magnetic or ceramic cartridge?

It uses a Sonotone 2T ceramic cartridge, the first high fidelity ceramic cartridge made, and is the original that came with it when new.
