I've been trying to figure this out forever and now I feel stupid that I never thought to do that myself. *duh* I hate thick, sloppy looking transitions.
So you never put your colorings on the whole track, then?
@amandaaa624 That's right! you just add to your clip, then do the copy & paste event attributes thing to get the colouring on another clip (which basically copies all your effects) =)
OH my FREAKIN GOSH!...that last tip about "Paste Event Attributes" so simple...I was always killing myself trying to repeat the steps to make the same effects on clip after clip..."Paste Event Attributes"..been using Sony Vegas for years and never knew about that lol...THANK YOU!! Thank You thank you.
i do use a completely black picture, put it on the top (in another track of course) and fade it instead of the clip, so i won't need to copy/paste the coloring settings in every clip ;)
Ah thank you so much! I used to add the colouring to every. single. clip. one. by. one. This will save me a lot of time! <3

thanks for this, btw is there a short cut for pasting attributes or do you need to pull down the menu bar every time?
andlaymetosleep 3 months ago
@andlaymetosleep well, what i usually do is put my colourings on a text/empty effect and just click copy/paste event attributes from that :)
JooFlashx 3 months ago
@JooFlashx i meant like a keyboard short cut? or can you highlight all the clips at once once you're finished and then paste event attributes?
andlaymetosleep 3 months ago
@andlaymetosleep nope, there's no keyboard shortcut, or i don't believe so!
