After listening to the Labour party since the election i have decided that they have no plan. I've heard plenty of places that Labour would cut 7 out of every 8 pounds the coalition would cut, yet they protest to every cut. This Digital Economy Act is a waste of time, effort and money. The resources put into this Bill could have been utilised properly, for example: The Anit-Racism Act, The Anti-Peado Act, The Anti-Child Abuse Act are all Acts that could have been implemented to serve a better purpose. But, no. Our government chose the Anti-Pirate Act [aka Digital Economy Act]. They prioritise Greed, over their own people. Huge companies missing out on their pocket money. My heart bleeds for them.
The only reason why people are voting conservative is because they don't like Gordon Brown and I think that's unfair to labour since they have a lot of offer.

Forget every policy you are hearing - tax credits have made people be able to survive where their wages don't cover their outgoings.... every other party other than Labour will take that from every household.... if you are young, ask your parents - do they get it, believe me in one year from now there will be a rebellion because people will be losing their houses, familes etc if labour lose.

@tjmoore1973 It was a short recession, no he wasn't too blame, no one thought before the banks showed just how bad they were just how bad they were in their dealings. they needed shown up for the control they had, they needed to be highlighted, if anything the short recession showed us all just what the bankers were up to and had been up to. I'm glad of that and hope they will always now be shown to be what they are.

South Korea currently deliver a 100 Mbps service to customers in 3rd world countries and project a 1 Gbps service by 2012, while UK users will be reliant on 50 year old copper wires festooned from dead trees!!!

However, the VirginMedia Cable Broadband Sevice is limited to certain areas unfortunately (Government / Ofcom regulation) and so the promised 50 Mbps is not and never will be available unless I move house. Virgin have confirmed this. and BT have confirmed that they will be dependant on silicon technologies until 2016.....While the rest of the world leaves us behind at light speed

In 2008 the EU (Brussels) ruled that countries do not need to divulge the details of file swappers as the result of civil law suits. It seems the government are introducing laws to counter decisions made by the EU.... Maybe this is a possible 'counter' to this new UK law.

The beauty of the internet allows there to always be a way around authority :-) I work in the music industry and it is very easy to produce pro quality recordings in your bedroom these days. This - coupled with the internet - amounts to a huge loss in control for major record labels as small independent labels can compete on a level playing field. This is about control to the Lobbyists who are lying about their motives for wanting the law.
