Environmental racism is the term used to describe exploitation of local coloured populations inm wqys that would not be tolerated in the States. I refer to production processes that result in rampant rates of cancer, birth defects, respiratory diseases; in short, radically shortened lifespans.

Chevron are clearly guilty of such practices in Ecuador. At present they are advertising on TV how much money they are committing to research.

Yes, this video is well done and shows involvement, but as a bystander who just saw this I don't see any of the polluting to know what and how bad it really is. Even a few shots of the actual problem would help the cause. I'm sure what the companies have done is horrible, but you've got to sell that and convince everyone to help the cause.

Just my humble opinion and I wish all the best to everyone involved.
