One tip: To stop the little side buttons falling out, secure them by putting sticky tape down each side before you start. It would have helped me!

Thanks for this great tutorial, I recommend taping the buttons on the side when reassembling so they will stay in place

Hi Thanks for the video. I have got my optimus's screen damaged and also its cover if u can help me give me links where can i buy online the same and repair it my self ! My phone fell down from my pocket on busy intersection and it damaged internal screen and not external !! I dont know how many cars ran over it by the time I got battery , phone and rear cover back . I fixed it the phone is working and so is all other features except screen which has 20% screen black and damaged.

Thank you very much for putting this together. i could only find a 'photo' tutorial otherwise, and from that you just can't tell how much force/care to use to remove various bits! the video is much better. managed to replace the screen with no probs.

regarding the side buttons: i found easiest to replace the 2 separate ones first, and put that side of the body in first to hold them in place.

the 3 screws under the battery dont seem to actually tighten up, but who cares!!

Great! Helped Alot, just replaced my digitizer using this vid. a little bit extra to do when replacing the digitizer but pretty easy

Nice tutorial - dont know if anyone had a problem with the 2 seperate buttons on one side but that was the only really awkward part of the whole thing!! Thanks for taking the time to post the video - it was very helpful!!

Excellent Managed it and replaced a screen for 20£ of ebay clear bright and working wuou just need the right screw drivers. Take it slow and dont force it...
