  • This was kinda helpful but mine still sometimes slips out, gonna practaise and get it right cuz this showed some easily styles

  • Hey Ladies, do you not look quite middle-American enough? Do people assume you might me European? Then get a BumpIt! Combine with incredibly white teeth for the full effect.

  • You mean, more guys have looked at my Terminator gun, than girls have looked at this? (assuming that I'm the only guy looking at the wimmen here.)

  • Mine won't stay in no matter how much hair spray I use. As soon as I comb it into place and set my hair over it, it eventually slips down and falls out. I've tried hair pins and they slide right out. Been watching real tutorials but it looks like most people use hair extensions and then there's those lucky ones, where it just combs right into place.

  • Or at a Ross for 1.49 really I just not them rite now

  • doesnt work, i have it

  • And now ladies, you can look just as sexy as Sarah Palin, and uh...uh...Nancy Grace?

  • Instant Sarah Palin look! (YUCK)!!

  • Another possible promotional line...

"Because doesn't every human woman, want to look like one of the Annunaki?"

  • @petrus4 Bahahahah.

  • In Australia, this would be known as the Boof Head Device.

  • hahaha crazy! these are available now at most 99 cent stores.

  • 1:13

  • They are a big artificial piece of plastic you pin onto the top of your head and everyone hates them because they look fake and it is so easy to see it through your hair if your hair moves at all. That is why they have went down in price from $19.99 to what $2.99? J-Clips makes your HAIR do that and not a piece of plastic pinned on top of your hair. Check out J-Clips On Waist Length Hair here on Youtube and sold on ebay. I promise you will love them because it is just your hair, nothing else.

  • For everyone who says they don't stay: I used to pin my Bumpit to my head to keep it in place.

  • 1:14. Lets count the seconds of pure creepyness...

  • It rodent work. It wont stay on

  • Is this a joke?

  • hi i just wanted to ask that can we make this type of a poof without using a spray??

    thnxx

  • These look nice, but my friend ashley got them and she said there hard to use, so did my cousin jessica, but i've never had them but i dont REALLY need them, i can make my hair the same way with a comb and some hair spray, and bobby pins ofc xD

  • OMG this is fantastic! It's like a wonderbra for the hair! And it doesn't look at all as if they try to smuggle something through customs! You could easily hide two pounds of cocaine in there! Get yours TODAY!

  • bumpits work really well for me... But I think they overdid it in this video. The models look a little weird. Their hair sticks out way too much.

  • If you want to look like a Hairspray extra...

  • i hated this thing.... I should burn them.... total wast of money...

  • wtf?

  • if you just tease it it looks better but the hairstyles in the instructions are nice.

  • very lovely

  • it works perfectly for me and my sister! are you giving the hair a small tease before placing it?!

  • who gets ready to go to the store

  • I love these sooo much - these and hairspray are my style saviors!

  • nyc!!

  • I luv this thing!! It givs me great volume and it's so easy :D

  • i definetely think i need one of these, i have some messed up parting due to a crap hairdresser, so i cant backcomb my hair. it just goes eitherside of my head! :L

  • i love how this commerical aired nationally when these things were borderlined outdated lol

  • LOVE HAIR LOOKS!!

  • @funaliciouslove

how about, you take sections to tease the hair, and place the bumpit in the middlemost section and then more teased hair will cover, and make room for an unteased section in front of the teased sections, so it will cover the tease and the bumpits, n voluuuuume! xD sorry if it was confusing. ><

  • dont bother. I bought them and returned them the first day. They do not stay

  • these things are huge now...

  • Its actually not that big. Its pretty subtle and really cute. Kinda like Caroline's Ponytail in "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist"

  • i have got these they dont have very good grip .. u have to do it perfect they get bit loose at times its hard to put it

  • I have tried and tried to get my Bumpits to look right and I guess my hair is just too thin/fine and straight

  • Is there anyway women with thin hair to use this.I tried but I can see the bumpit through my hair

  • hahahahaha, that is so quick. what the heck is this bumpits, i wonder if i have it at home.

  • its old style

  • These...are awesome

  • @tyawanna Try setting them with bobbie pins. :)

  • Love the product but something should be done about the narrators voice on the promo. It drives me insane.

  • @tyawanna yuo it was a waste of my 10 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey i wear bump its!

  • looks great

  • I love my bump it. I don't use the small one often because I just don't feel like a front poof works with my round face :( but I do updo's with my medium bump it and I love it.

  • i do 3:34 with my moni bumpit.

    It's really cute :P

  • I have them.

    The minis are the best.

But the big ones are stupid.

I'm 13 years old & it doesn't it on my head.

    It falls down.

My head is too small so it sucks for me.

That's why i use the minis for the front ( i take my side bang & add the mini bumpit)

  • i have them :)

  • LOL bumpits, what a name. I might buy it

  • ughh i hate the big ones, i only use the small ones for my bangs in my ponytail

  • I have thick hair. HA HA HA!!!!!

  • same here, my hair wont curl, at all! its terriable.

  • My hair, when you curl it, it turns into RINGLETS!!!!!!

  • I love my hair!

  • comfortabl? yeah right. the little comb things digg into my scalp, and i can see them through my hair, and i have really thick hair!!!

  • The commercial makes it look so easy and those women already have voluminous hair. My hair is dead straight and limp, it just hangs like dead spaghetti so the bumpit shows right through, even after I tease it :(

  • same here, i feel ya girl!

  • Got these and they work great :) just takes some practice to get it just right xx

  • i got them!u have to put them right for they won't fall out! When you put them on first try to shake your hair to see if it don't fall out if it do try it again and wiggle it hard!

  • This didn't work with me withmy old hair, but after i got a new hair cut, I dunno why but the bumpit stays nows perfectly and doesn't come out

  • I got these for xmas and they dont work very well for me because I have thin hair :( you can see the stupid htings right though :(

  • You have to be able to make your hair look big and teased on its own before adding a bumpit. Bumpits shouldn't be used to replace teasing (like the advertisements might make it seem), just to help with it and help hold it. Otherwise, yeah, they won't work in your hair.

  • These don't work in my hair at all!

  • The people in this video seem too happy. Lol. Nice video though. :]

  • dont by this stuff i bought it and it just falls right out. so dont waste your money at all. if you want to get it thats fine=]

  • haha thats what i found when i first bought it. it says you will become a pro in no time, its wrong. it takes loooooads of practice but when you get it right its just as good as whats shown on this video. i can do it perfectly now but it fell out when i first got it :) dont let Msllovenick09's comment put you off guys :)

  • i didnt like this ish,

  • When you part your hair, tease a small portion of where athe bumpit will sit, then tease a small section of the top part. (use a litte hairspray while teasing). Then just sit the bumpit in place, and lay top hair over it. Last, just smooth over the top. I think the teasing helps hold it in place and hides the teeth. Hope this helps!

  • Does it work wiht curly hair for anybody else??? if so please reply!!!!

  • i know! i just got them today they just wont hold in tight enough

  • i <3 this i have it soz kinda excited just got it xx

  • Good video. :)

  • i cant help feeling that they tied their hair back in every clip :/, lolz and they are so much harder than they look to put in.

mine cost £15 and i havent been ablee to use em one cuz i cant put them in lmao xD

  • I LOVE the middle sized one. I have yet to use the bigger one though just because I only casually wear them to have a quick, nice hairstyle for work (a pharamacy). The teeth dont show once you figure them out

  • These models remind me of Sarah Palin!

  • The mini Bumpit looks cute but the other two make your head look massive.

  • bumpits look good on SOME people! but on all these girls in this video, it just looks weird

  • My hair is super straight and kind of thin, but if you tease the roots enough and use lots of hairspray you can make it look cute and the more you tease the less you'll see of the teeth. But having thicker hair would help!

  • those were a waste of my money

they fall sideways and the teeth always show

    out from my hair :/

  • Why does the narrator slur like she's popped about three Xanax?

I have these. I don't WANT to tease my hair (which is why I wanted to use hardware instead), but if you don't tease, you wind up with a ridge on top of your head. So I use the short, wide one in front of the crown, the tall, wide one behind the crown, put a "rat" (see Johnny Lavoy's video) in between, pin a thin layer of hair over all, then let the rest of my hair flow over the top. Lot of scaffolding, but my hair's thick & long.

  • I LOVE BUMPITS <3

  • I have really thin short hair at my crown so the teeth of the bumpits show :(

  • I know ,right ?

try teasing it a bit to thicken it

    work 4 me !

  • myn doesnt work atall

  • love those stuff, wish I could buy one!

  • I bought a pack of these and I LOVE them. It does take a little practice but once you get it to work, it's amazing.

  • i have tht put itsss kindaa hard for me to use it lol

  • hii

were do you get the clip to creat the poof from??

  • FunkiiS Sally Beauty carries the Bumpits in the store and on the website.

  • were do i get one of these things ?

  • Sally Beauty Supply carries them in the stores and online.

  • @merahaba123 now they are sold in Dollrama :P for 2 dollars

  • @merahaba123

You can get them in lots of local stores but I would recommend getting them of amazon for only about £1.99. Its brand new and cheap!

  • do they workk on curlyy hair?

  • all you need is two bobby pins

  • "and put in a beautiful pony"

    XD

  • i have just bought them but i have the same issues hair is very silky

    but ill keep trying!

  • Would have to have thick hair......wouldn't work on thin hair or very straight thin hair. Wrap it in velcro and tease well then it might work.

  • Does anyone know if theres a tutoril for the lookat 2:59? Thx

  • Check out Mischeivous hair tutorials. She has one on a faux hawk sort of. It ends up looking a lot like that.

  • My hair is too silky for this, I have one it shows through 3:.......

  • brush your hair backwards after it air drys out of the shower .

only a the part thats gunna be covering it...

  • Why didn't I think of this...

  • i actually have one:D they work pretty well

  • they sent me a damaged one end up throwing away what a waist of money

  • Could you return it?

  • i love the bumpits :D i just biought them today because i'm gong to ym cousina quinceanera tomorrow and i tried it outt and wow i shocked with iits results!it realli works!!:D i definelty recommend it to every girll :)

  • Not really, the hair teased usually comes un teased after about an hr, or sometime less. The tease comes untangled, and starts to flatting out real soon. The bumpits have it sticking up, all night.

  • I love my bumpits! they r the easiest way to do these hairstyles...i never tease mine and the results r still fab!

  • Can you use this on curly hair?

  • I'm guessing it's not the same teasing as when I grab a kid's backpack and play keep away?

  • The trick to covering up the little spikes is to take a rat-tail comb and use the tail to pull the hair on top of the bumpit slightly up and out; this usually works for me, and it's something the Bumpits instructions never tell you.

  • Is this the only way to get big hair or is this just a faster method of getting the same results?

  • It's a faster method.

  • I LOVE MY BUMPITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i looove mine =]

  • it looks easy but its not

  • You can also tell that some are teased and don't have bumpits at all?

  • wher cani get them at?

  • You can get Bumpits at Sally Beauty Supply!

  • @sallybeautysupply haha everyone asks the same question

  • not preppy at all..throw on some cat eye sunglasses and you are rockin a Rockabilly look!

  • besides this looking like something from the 80s do you know how much it would hurt if you fell on it?

  • yea just got mine 2 i havent tried it yet tho xD

but uhh i wonder y they use old ppl in this thing

  • i just ordered mine on ebay. luv the idea of it but worried that the bump is too high n will look too fake.

  • Hmmm could I pull this off even tho I'm punk? I'm just wondering if this looks too preppy.... :P

  • no.

  • Arent you people always rocking high hair? I think it would look cool.

  • too big.

  • It soundsllike a cool idea but some of the bumps are too big and odd-looking o.O

  • this does work i bought it today and used it by the way ppl it does work use the big one with a side pony tail it lookes sooooooooo cute ;)

  • i tease mah hair huge and people touch it and always wonder if something is in it?

if i use this, then theyd belike I knew it!

i ratherr it be hair, even tho this looks neater and easier to deal with :)

  • Love love love my bumpits. So easy to use and works great!

  • Looks like 80's hair or something

  • You just get the hang of it. Although it does take a little more time than regular teasing, the end results looks so much better. I love it. =]

  • the drag queens are gonna go wild

  • haha easier then it looks, but im doing alright so far. its just kinda hard keeping it in place/making it look cuute.

  • .... WANT IT. :)

  • they dont suck you just have to get the hang of them. mine work for me and i have thin hair!

  • these do work i did my hair with them today you just need to know how to use them it takes practice.

  • i have one like this i'd rather use back combing than these things..i agree it wasnt cute!!

  • I belive you

  • i have it and i struggle like every day.

  • Bumpits are now on SALE on the Sally Beauty website for $9.99!!

  • I took the time to do my hair hours trying to make it teasd and big, it didn't work

    I'm gonna try this

  • hahahhahahaha looks like a guidette's secret weapon

  • Comment removed

  • Wher do i get them from??

  • You can buy them on Sally Beauty's website or in select Sally Beauty stores.

  • Alright, some of them look okay, but some of the other ones look horrible! IMO some look like they're from the 60s. not very good.

  • Just purchased some so will review after I have them! Anything can't be harder than backcoming your hair all the time.

  • actually these were easy to use for me. i like using two of the medium sized ones rather than just one

  • yah right those things dont stay on if you just bobby pin it >:P

its hard to do it by yourselffffff uhh!!

  • I want these soooo bad!!!!

  • I want them!!! I need them!!! But where do i get them??!??! I live in Pakistan...do u get them here?

  • the girl at 4:00 is purdy!

  • Oh god it's the 1950s all over again

  • haha i know!

  • I totally want some of these! Though most of the woman in this vid look like they have really dry hair that would stay wherever you put it nomatter what, not sure if they would work on my hair.

*That womans voice sounds like something off desperate housewives lol*

  • where can i get it in australia?

  • People buy products to make the Peg Bundy hairstyle?

  • Very hot, indeed.

  • cool..where can i get them???

  • at Sally Beauty

  • I notice tht all the styles they use had to either were in a ponytail or the hair had to be half way tied up , What about havin ur hair down , would it be able to hold?

  • I use these and love them! I will say that these look easier on the infomercial but after practice I got really good with them.

  • Cute

  • OMG i luv da hair styles nd those bumpit things, how do u clip bak ur hair si nicly?
