i agree with most of his stuff since he is playing soraka as mainly support but a soraka can be good at farming and damage it is all about how you build her and how you play her also i have never used infuse to farm to much of a cool down i rather push the enemy champs back or just silence them.

Im a pure support player. Played holy paladin in arena, Shadow priest in dota and taric/soraka as support in lol. Only think i can disagree on is 1. Soraka can farm. And shes a quite good one at it at it. Spamming q obivously and taking last hits with combo of autoattack and infuse. 2. Starcall is very very effective in laning since it can be spammed and its free. Its definately not something to underrestimate. I wouldent type this just to point out flaws but you lack baiting and starcall"skill"

@qolll 2 problems with your criticism. 1. Soraka should never farm if she is lanning with an AD carry bot. (which she should always do in competitive play) The AD carry needs the farm for their BF sword and such, where as soraka needs shoes and she's good to go for the rest of the game. 2. If you are filling the support roll when playing soraka, starcall isn't as healpful as your heal and silence/mana regen ability, because most of the time i only focus on the enemy to silence them.

I know patches havechanged things since this video, but IMO, Soraka is the bwst farmer now. I can easily double mid in a dual lane once q is leveled. Also, e at max with gear does 1/3 or more damage to most non tank champs. This video says the opposite of everything soraka does zD

@dragonmekill Uniques definitely do not stack. However, if you get Philosopher's Stone, Heart of Gold, Kages, and....the sword that builds into Ghostblade--this will work. Add on to that, the mastery bonus of 1 gold per 10, and you'll have a severe advantage, especially once you start last hitting minions.

here's a couple of tips, use infuse when in-lane fighting because the silence is more crucial than the mana, and you can use soraka's slow attack animation and slow projectile speed to actually hit the enemy champs without drawing aggro from enemy minions and turrets. Just auto attack them and run into the brush it's very effective for zoning

The health bar thing is a problem with LoL, not the replay's. If you look on the health bars on the side in game, you will notice they don't update until you look at the champion, and sometimes, you can have a champion listed as lvl 1 10 minutes in the game, if you never look at him. The health bars on the minimap should update real time though. At least, that's my theory.

MF/Soraka bottom is an amazing bottom lane. Some people have even been saying it's better than the great Ashe/Janna bot. Not quite sure why you bothered to talk about her last hitting and auto-attacks, if you are last hitting either you or your AD Carry is doing something wrong. All in all, a solid, entertaining game.

Would be great to hear you talk about the Spectator mode in the next vid.

You don't really need magic pen, since you're not doing any magic damage as Soraka. Much more useful is armor pen, for early game harassment and zoning. Try to autoattack enemy champs in your lane more, even tough her damage is pathetic and attack animation horrible, it's still one of the longest ranges in the game. Make sure you utilize that.
