I live in Midland County Michigan and have a friend in the city. Midland County from what I have noticed has three types of sirens and all of them being ASC. RM-130's like this one RM-127 which is rare and this one here might just be one of those and then they newest sirens being Tempest-128. Midland County is a Storm ready county and tell what love the sirens. I have a video of our first tornado warning this spring.
why does the chopper sound like a model 2 to me?

Cool video, I found out that an RM-130 is also located in Henderson, County Kentucky where I have a cousin that lives there.

3:24 really! Haven't heard these in Calgary Alberta for a long time, used to be monthly tests when I was a kid.

You can hear T-128s in the background. They sound creepy.

SovietUoin 3 years ago
That's because only P-20s were made like this, then later called the RM-130.

Judging from the wind up, it has a DC motor. Gotta be an RM-130.

It is. :)

I thought they only made these as AC.
carexpertandy 2 years ago
No they actually only made these in DC. They only made the P-10s/15s in AC.
thecompanycar 2 years ago
So were these made to run completely on DC?
carexpertandy 2 years ago

it kind of looks and sounds like an early version of a T-128.
FBHSswimmer2006 3 years ago 2
It is a P-20 (penetrator 20) or RM-130
