What a wonderful man of God..Johnny Minick! And a wonderful dedication song for another great man of God..my Uncle Howard Goodman. Miss you Uncle Howard! ~jennifer~
Who are your life's heroes? For me, the answer is easy: Those old gospel singers who spent their lives traveling the roads from one end of these United States to the other. My son and I stood one fall night watching Howard Goodman walk with that cane, from the bus to the Palace of Auburn Hills. His white hair was like a halo. I told my son how much the Happy Goodmans touched my life. It was the last time we saw him in concert.
Absolutely Awesome! What a gift Johnny Minick gave to Howard Goodman...wonderful! The countless years of service to God that Howard and Vestal have given, and through technology, they keep giving! Thanks for the wonderful post Hoover4000! God bless YOU too!
Yes! What a blessing to be able to pay tribute to Howard before his passing. It's good to give the flowers of love before our loved ones pass on. Very fitting testament!

It was great Johnny did this for Bro.
Howard while he was still with us. So
many times they wait until the funeral of
such a person, and then its too late for
them to be blessed by it.

a friend of mine says she can remember seeing them at the Church she attended as a little girl. the funny thing is she reminds me of Vestel.

We lost a golden strand in the tapestry of the legacy that MADE southern gospel music. When we lost Howard & then Vestal.
