@chase89181 From a singing perspective, the slower the song the easier it is to sing. That's probably why he slowed it down, and most idol auditions are actually slower than the record.

David Cook has a incredible voice with his talent as well. David has a real true rockers voice. I remember watching this when American Idol days were good. Today American Idol is dead. David is a great artist, its just to bad he is under rated. He needs to be more bigger with his great talent.
