I have a G, Im running the Micln 2C2 front and rear. As for front springs progressives are junk. You dont want to run a progressive spring for handing. Race Tech ,96kg. straight rate is just right for the weight of the bike. Then use a set of 43mm emulators and it will stick like glue. With the geometry it is a very heavy front end weighted bike. Slow to turn at low speed, but the top end stability is great. The YSS are a very good chock, I also like the Works Performance Billet adjs.
@1hardnheavy unfortunately the options here are limited when it comes to shocks/springs.
An update on the tyres, i have given up on Battlax 021s. They wear out, especially the front, way too fast. Unsure about the new Battlax023s, but i will steer away from Bridgestones for now. I am contemplating on the Mich RP2s.
In mine the suspensions and brakes are not as Id like. They are quite soft but I feel all the vibrations of the street. Ive changed the oil of the front suspensions and I ve checked the back shock and apparently it works fine. Now it is in number 4 but it is not enough amortiguation. How is yours?
changing oil for the front shocks doesn't make much difference, you should try to get get Progressive front spring if you want it stiffer.
I have just changed my rear shock to YSS (look it up in the web) it is a rebuildable shock. The rear is much stiffer now and soaks up the bumps well, cornering is greatly improved also.
When the mechanics opened the front shocks I ve seen the springs and they looks as progressives ones: the spaces reduces as you goes toward the extreme of the spring.
I see the X366TRC or X366TRW seems to be the model. The lenght is 306mm and his models came in 300mm or 310mm. Which model did you put in your bike?
yeah, i was just playing around with it, got new tyres on, so after scrubbing them in, wanted to see how well it performed on twisties. not too good, scraped the peg more times than i wished.
Oh, my fatboyslim has been blocked. Muahahaha.

I've got one. They are undergeared and brutally powerful.
They are not very keen on bends. Take it easy my friend, for your sake and others.
