  • Hi from México ;) this episode in particular made me smile. I think street photography is very touching. Regards!!

  • OMG!! I just looked at your portfolio and it was the most beautiful inspiring thing I ever saw. It's easy to see that you are amazing at what you do!

  • Can you get sue for taking a picture w/o any permission?

  • aaaa mark! give me your camera!!!! :)

  • Thanks Mark ! As usual, this is a very nice teaching video ! Even after more than 10 years to take photos, your videos are a good "teacher" for me !

  • What kind of effect you use in post production?

  • I am not that big of a fan of your style and I dont agree with some of the technical, you act like it can only be done that way...

  • @MrTechnoiGeek Really? You heard the beginning where he said it's different for everyone, and that what he was talking about wouldn't apply to everyone. What is your style? care to link a portfolio we can learn from?

  • loved the vid mark i like street photography like candids where the subject is unaware that there photograph is being taken do i need model releases to place them on my website?

  • Great video, Mark. Love your work. I was at the creativeLIVE lightenupandshoot weekend....you can see some of my street shooting by googling photoguyofai or Fran Ruchalski

  • Always look forward to your videos, Mark.

  • ႊThanks Mark, all your works is valuable to me.

  • what an awesome range of videos. You are an excellent teacher with great presentation skills. I just bought a canon SLR two days ago and I'm learning so much through your videos! Thank you!

  • This episode inspired me alot. Thanks Mark!

  • Hi Mark, i like your videos a lot.. my question is, when you shoot street photography. the portraits you get, do you get a model release? can we use this for example, when we show as part of our portfolio and coffee table book in the future?

  • Hi Mark. Time make me slow on the shows (sort of a way to name them...lol...)

I like so much how you put it all together. I do miss and lack understanding but basically would love a way to get a list of the books and references somewhere (Maybe Adorama can put them together and sell) just my thought...regards...Oscar

  • Great video!! Thanks!!

  • Great vid and some nice portraits, thank you

  • Hi...How do you make this photos look a bit black and white....? In my case the colors are too sharp......

  • Love your vids. very informative... I've learned a lot from yo guys. keep up the good works. :)

  • Summer is here and its time to vacation. Space being limited, what equipment do you bring? What are some of the shots you take? Lastly how do you make your vacation shots stand out?

  • Can you PLEASE make a video on how to make HDR photographs on low budget?

  • can you give me a slow moving motorized dolly to use for time lapse.... thanks!

  • Could you make a video for explaining Tilt-Shift? How it works?

    Thank you.

  • @Burhansyla search: Digitalrev tilt shift.

  • Finally some real questions about streetphotography not just what lenses, settings etc. which are all kinda irrelevant. Good job Mark!

  • this makes me wanna go out and take all kind of pictures. thank you, very helpful!

  • Presented in a way that gives me confidence to go out and try my hand at getting some street shots. Thanks for putting these videos together in a "bite size" format.

  • HI MARK, How can I use shutter speed to close out ambient light in direct sun while I use off the camera strobes. I am using sb-28 speedlights sync speed allows up to 250th/second. Do I have to use repeating flash to close out ambiant light and use flash as primary source. "Thanks for all of your expert instruction".

  • @jcs346 I recommend a wide aperture and a ND filter.

  • TIMELAPSE PLEASE! How can we do it?

  • @rrshowroom Check out episode 40.

  • @snapfactory Re those model releases: Did you actually get a model release from the parents of those kids in Africa and India? What if you don't even speak their language?

  • @bitterer I did get permission from their parents. Most people in India speak english.

  • @snapfactory lol... that's right... if you think about it, in which countries is the biggest population of people speaking english? China and India... Not USA :D

  • @snapfactory can u give some details on semi coloring post production of these pics. not complete grayscale but still having few colors on it

  • i always adore the way how mark teaches with ease. feels like even i can enhance my photography skills easily. that why I subscribed to this channel.

  • Great teacher and photographer

  • I love this videos. They are so informative, and fun to watch.

  • great video! Feels like I learned alot!

  • 4:20 very nice picture. good job mark

  • Excellent tips about street photography Mark. Definitely one of the toughest forms of photography. And the James Nachtwey mention was great choice!...I saw that documentary and absolutely loved it...

  • Street portraiture is not the same as street photography.

Street photography is candid and more about documenting the world around and how people go about their lives.

Street portraiture is more about the person itself and not that person is doing.

  • Do you need a model release when shooting in other areas, such as Africa or South America?

  • @MidnightDazzle You should check the country's policy on such, but generally no. If photojournalists had to do that we'd never get any news.

  • This was a super helpful video, Thanks!

  • come to Saudi Arabia and start a street photography you will be killed before you press the shutter button lol

  • Thank you agin.

Could you make an episode on timelapse photography?

  • @Fearlessroby We already did. It's episode 40. :)

  • @snapfactory Thank you very much Mark, the problem is that when I scroll the list of videos in your channel I can not read the full title, but just for example: "Digital Photography 1 on 1: Episode 69: compos" So it's hard .. find a video. I also madethe search by typing "TimeLapse" but the title of the 40 th episode is "Stop Action Videos".

    Sorry.

  • helpful as all ways thank

  • LOL must have parents permission hahahahah bloody pedo's....

  • This is the hardest type of photography for me to do. It's hard to approach someone on the street.

  • That's great.. glad that u were in India. Next time you are in India, we can have some informal workshop or join our Bangalore Photography club's one of many photowalks!

Thanks again for all the valuable inputs!

  • ohhhh happy for seeing a new video!!!!

  • Excellent... Informative..

  • yeah mee too

  • Always happy when i see a new video!
