bless a far cry to today were the station officer known as the station commander now has 3 impellors on his shoulders and rides in a flash car instead of the pump as they did back then, the 2 impellors are now sub officers or watch managers as they are now known.
At 0:26 i forgot i was watching a video that takes place in England....so i thought that the driver was sitting in the left seat...and he was making a crazy turn while not paying attention
@youtankie - Ain't that the truth; poacher turned gamekeeper. Many officers forgot they started in the ranks like everyone else and pulled as many strokes as the next man. I can call to mind the faces of a lot of scoundrels who 'made good' and became some of the most hated people within the LFB in the process. Don't miss that side of it at all.
