@ kha1200 no, it's not "Massoud" because that would be pronounced as "muh-ss-ahw-oo(d)" in Turkish and it's wrong. In Turkish it's "MESUT" not "Massoud-Massood". Hope that helps :)

His great grandfather was a well known scholar at the time of the Ottoman Empire.
