  • Whats the name of the song in the end? I like it alot. Soon i will have my iboga trip, its time to change my life. All bad things i have done.

  • It´s his life. his health he can do with it what he wants.

  • At least the man is out in the world learning about

other humans beings.Something that many of us

    should do more of!

  • (casteneda but on film)

  • ridiculous... these arent even manufactured drugs.. all this guy is doing is eating bad tasting PLANTS, you know, the things that grow NATURALLY across the entire world...

im sooo sick of all you dare-class-graduate prude fucks walking around with an aire of superiority whilst maintaining total ignorance of the subject at hand. experience is knowledge beyond refute.

  • @TeamCrisis DITTO! If the plants are used for medicine or culture/religous purposes And who are we to take our IMPOSED"Western"values of right and wrong, drug or medicine on primitive cultures ? As a recovering addict of 8 yrs I saw the painful side of drugs AND the intended medicinal side also,I say its perspective on what and how its viewed, Alcohol is the most physically harmful drug to the body, yet its 100%legal,Can someone explain that to me ?? While alcohol is legal, its the worst.

  • nothing is wrong with this. everybody should experience these things.

  • I'm really not sure what's wrong here.

How can you not learn truly about a culture other then immersing yourself into it.

I get that many people fear that traditional entheogens are dangerous narcotics, and it is true that many if not most dangerous narcotics originate from entheogens.

But it's the "civilizing" of these natural plants that make them into the dangerous drugs of cocaine, and heroin.

I think drugs are powerful medicines.

They arnt something we should use again and again for fun.

  • lear? Then lear is to learn...

  • What is the idea behind this video??? I don't get it... Is this a critic to this guy? to the serie? Watch the series and lear how others live outside our society

  • just because you are a dry, dead cracker doesnt make you better than humans with earthly intellegence you moron

  • he has the best job ever

  • The comments made by the producers within the video are overthought and laughable. What part of reality - be it primitive, modern, in a social context or singularity - being a consensual experience dont they understand?

  • hes not an anthropologist. never claimed to be an antropologist. its a tv show. seems like a good bloke but hanging out with some exotic people doesnt make you an anthopologist

  • This guys awesome!!

  • definitely respect man. i would totally want to do something like this though, not just drugs but live like the tribes do.

  • i respect this dude .....

  • Xtreeemly hard drug. Gets hard junkies back on track. HARD junkies, not weekend e-girls or semi acidboys: ) But cool show, looking forward when it gets on the DK screens.

  • mang, ive dug my nose in this type of stuff, cacti, mushrooms, etc. It takes us backwards in our brains, not somewhere necissary to go, but you can learn alot about yourself, and self control.

helps you make sure you dont go too far into the "real world" as most adults say to me.

  • u must be trippin.......oh wait

  • See you in the mental hospital mate. Makes for great viewing though.

  • I've read about the ibogaine experience in the Bwiti tribe, and I did not think this man's experience was 'fake'. It went in accordance with what I read. I incredibly admire this man's ability to go to a foreign tribe and experience something like what he went through with his ibogaine experience. One would be extremely vulnerable in such a situation.

  • This show is awesome!

  • its not that much different, and they could have cut out the parts they left out for length purposes or something, it lasts 3 days after all. i wouldnt say its fake.

  • it's a fake!!! the initiation ritual is a lot different! it's a comedy

  • I dont know anything about this culture but I can understand the producers of the show altering the process to make it look more dramatic. What part of the ritual is fake?

  • @nazzarenolario

No, it's not fake... nor is it a comedy... you haven't seen the show have you?

  • Note to self: Avoid eating iboga. I thought iboga was only used as an aid to cure opiate addiction (ibogaine). Little did I know...
