If I were making GT5, I would finish making cockpits in the cars after the game release in chunks. Say every 2-3 months release an update that adds like 10 more cockpits to the standard cars. They don't have to be uber detailed, but at least you can use that view.

Can't tell you how disappointed I am about the cockpit views. This is almost a deal breaker for me. I can see GT5 being a huge failure in the eyes of the community at this rate. yeah i have to say i am dissapointed with the cockpit thing with it only being in some cars but to be honest it doesnt bother me all that much because i dont race on cockpit view i race on bonnet cam, in forza yeah they had cockpit on all cars but they were very un detailed and they all looked the same so it wasnt hard to make 1 cockpit and just copy and paste it to all cars, GT5s cockpits are allot more detailed in relation to the real world counterparts so they take allot longer to make.

@hoodboi718 it's quite good. Of course, it is no G25 or GT27, but if you want to get an affordable wheel, the DFGT is well suited for GT5. And even for the pros it might be interesting as it sports this red wheel on the right side. With it you can quickly adjust settings while driving.

I have played Forza 3, since i have both consoles, and it was very fun, but it started to get boring after a while, the cars weren't very detailed inside so haaa :P but i enjoy the F3 multiplayer.

I play forza and the cars feel nothing like what i drive in real life ex: my evo 9 and miata. But playing prologue its a lot closer. you truly do not understand physics if you think forza feels more realistic than gt5p-gt5.

A car without a cockpit view is not a car period. GT5 has 200 cars and that is too little. I'm officially not getting a ps3. This means that since gt5 prologue came out they worked on 129 cars in 3 years since gt5 prologue came out in 2007 and had 71 cars with cockpit view. Japanese companies are so disorganized. The reason that the game kept getting pushed back was that that the gt5 creators were so disorganized that they couldn't organize themselves better in order to be more efficient.

Actually, we were saying "new build" and "minimalist build" - the demo had been downloaded from PD's servers that morning and I somehow doubt it was 50Gb's worth of finished product. We did also level a few criticisms, including towards the older GT games, but then if you thought we were saying "old build" when we were saying the opposite, it's not a great surprise it passed you by.

Oddly, in F1 this has come to mean "get the hell out of the way" and ignoring three of them may be punishable by the stewards.
