@Capi91Que It was about two years ago that I bought it, so I doubt the guy is still selling them. Just search on eBay and set the search filter so that it only shows US based sellers and you'll hopefully find some sellers.

I got it just like this but you did a better job I had trouble with the umd lens screws so I just hot glued it on everything else is fine still works perfectlly oh and I got it from dealextreme and does your screen scratch easily cause mine does

@PSPholyness Well I keep a screen protector over my screen at all times, so I don't have problems with scratches on the screen, but the rest of the housing is prone to fine scratching. Nothing very serious though.

no offense dawg but it is so simple, i had mine like that too but i put sound reactive led lights...you should be creative dawg, just an advice, you should not replace the back plate with transparent because after sometime the color will fade...

how hard is it to replace the housing?

It is very difficult to replace the backplate because you literally have to move every piece from the old shell into the new one. The part that can be a little tricky is the UMD door. The frontplate on the other hand is really easy to replace. You only have to remove a few screws from the bottom of the PSP (use Phillips #00 so you don't strip the screws). So if you do just the frontplate it's easy, but if you do the backplate too, then it is a challenge.

Nice, good luck with it! On eBay I found out you can get screen protectors for one penny with free shipping. I don't know what you paid for yours, but just go bid a penny on a bunch of the Hong Kong selelr's free shipping screen protector auctions and you'll get some for $0.01. I have probably 30 or so I paid only 1 or 6 cents for.

Yeah the transparent blue is nice too. Also consider the "smoke" kind that is a smoky black/gray transparent.

Check the video description. There is a link there to a Youtube video where a guy shows how to remove the UMD door. I did what that guy showed and it worked. You have to be slow, gentle, and patient with this delicate stuff though. It's very easy to break this stuff if you're not.

It does allow a little dust to enter, but it is barely noticeable.

does it affect the performance? do the buttons like start to wiggle and stuff? how are the buttons? are they transparent , cant tell clearly from the video

The buttons that come with the set are not very good, especially the D-Pad and trigger buttons. On mine I stuck with my original stock white ones (I changed the volume bar back to white too later after this video). The ones that come with it just have this cheaper feel, but yes they were transparent.

The transparent ones didn't look that great anyway, and I really like the look of the original white buttons. Using the original buttons on it work fine, and they do not wiggle. The D-Pad seems ever so slightly looser though.
