I wish someone would post Crazy As Me. Man, this guy is painfully talented - so freakin genuine. I enjoy Jackson's version, but I agree this comes from deep within the man.
I keep coming back to this video... Mr. Castleman, Bravo! I love the soul and heart coming through the mike and your fingers. I found this by accident, but I am SO glad I did! ;-)
I'm sorry, but there's SO much MORE emotion in Mr. Castleman's version than there is in Alan Jackson's. I'm a fan of Jackson and think he's incredibly talented, but he didn't do this gorgeous song justice. Bravo, Mr. Castleman!
Mr. Castleman, as a fellow singer/songwriter, let me just say that this is a beautiful composition. Its always cool to see and hear the original version of a song.
nothing like the original to make it all come together ..... ain't it grand that the writer is no longer just a name in the background?

This is the writer of the song and he is pouring his heart out. Listen a little closer.

It is cool listening to a songwriter sing a song, but I must say... Alan Jackson made this song so great.
