@pwange55 Lower the graphic settings to low and work your way up if even at low settings its laggy upgrade your graphic card to 6k or 5k series amd there pretty cheap. Unless your an nvidia fan go with the 500 or 400 series. Go nvidia for better quality products and support, amd for cheaper graphic card.

XD "my bad" one thing I want to ask is ambushes on the campaign, apparently its rare for the enemy to ambush you but damn they love me. don't want to waste your time but any advice to either prepare myself during an ambush as you're not privelaged to have the deployment order at the beginning of the battle?

I have a question on the game. I didn't enjoy Empire because the soldiers feet didn't move in concert with there speed and calvary seemed to fly over the battleground with the speed of a formula one race car. MTW2 was fine, but ETW just didn't seem as smoothe. How is STW2? It could have been my PC, but ETW troops seemed to move too fast at times also. The game just didn't feel in sync. How does STW2 seem to play? Watching Videos doesn't tell me how it 'feels' as a comment does.

@EricOstermann the aspects you described reguarding empire sounded more like rome. cavalry in empire can be quite slow at times while in rome, it seemed like men moved much too fast despite their heavy armour on
