  • Hell you could make a go-cart out of it. }:-}

  • @NotSoOldHippy I want to make a motorized bike if I can find a clutch-driven two cycle chainsaw or string trimmer engine under 50cc.

  • @AllSmallEngines best kind is an edger for motor bike

  • @tylers2insane I'm actually working out what I want to do right now. An edger seems like the way to go. If I use a chainsaw I would have to design, and fabricate a mounting platform.

  • @AllSmallEngines yea cause the trimmer already has the motor mount fab. but if u were to use the chain saw would be great for a bicycle by putting like a bell mount holder that goes above the back tire then jut wire your throhtle, i used a weed eater motor on my beach cruser and mounted it hanging above the front tire like a go ped worked for me crusied at about 15 to 20 mph

  • @tylers2insane My engine would be on the back tire. I would have a cable running along the bike's back bone up to the left brake lever for a hand controlled throttle. As far as mounting the engine goes all that I know right now is my mount will be made out of 1/8" x 1" angle iron. I don't have any solid design ideas yet.

  • well next time i will give u some advice i work at a lawn mower shop u check the blade to see if its loose or bent after taking spark plug wire off plug... then u check compression to see if it has some.. then put fresh fuel in tank, and spray carb cleaner or gas down carb to see if it runs then if it does and doesnt stay running then that means a fuel system cleaning is needed... these are just some simple steps that make your life easier so u dont go pulling it apart and find more needed....

  • hmm when you turned it over it didn't seem like it had much compression maybe thats why it was thrown out

  • @MO3MINI It does have low compression among other problems that were found during my 5 hours of work. More on that in my description of part 3.

  • where did u get that thing

  • @MrGiantstpss A friend that I haven't seen in seven years was here visiting from Nevada. I looked up the street, and our next door neighbor was rolling it out to the curb for trash pick up. We talked for almost 4 hours so it was around 12:30 in the morning when I went for it. I just opened the side gate, & pushed it into our backyard.

  • @AllSmallEngines Does the thing produce a spark?

  • @NotSoOldHippy I installed an ignition coil from my parts collection. It would not produce a spark. The original coil was pulled for use on another lawnmower.
