I always suggest learning on smaller bikes, like a 250. That said people are going to do what they want and I don't argue it. But to not have at least a helmet on when getting on a bike for the first time, especially a 1000, and then to have that bike pointed at kids for the take off... is irresponsible for the "teacher". Injuries sustained on a bike are the same at any speed, the only difference speed factors in is how much rash you get(given you don't slide into something.)

Very nice bike and cute girl too; although, I'd recommend some protective gear. Even at low speeds the pavement is not forgiving.

if the bike is yours i wish you some incredible rides........but please even for that short ride wear a helmet and some leathers.......red brozes in your elbow arm and shoulder wouldnt look very nice..........i love women in big motorcycles especially those who know how to really ride them........not fast....thats the last thing....but SAFE
