  • My record is 1min 57.4 secs... WHAT HAPPENED?? O_O

  • i blinked and i missed it. what happened!!!

  • AWESOME

  • no ....erik is the former world record holder....u are totally not....and it;s imposible...haha!

  • wow. cross on u!

  • damn this video is old :D

  • No its not! :(

  • what is it then? HUH? HUH?

  • its a FUCKER

  • oh okay :D

  • free pizza.

  • 115th!

  • U can HEOM this happen!

  • lol how?

  • lol i wrote this poem myself, u should read it.

    LITTER

  • Pretty sure this was in 2005 not 2004.

  • Cross on U and the world record...? Wow

  • Why everytime i view a video of a person who can solve rubik in under 15 secs looks like a nerd. Common show me someone whose like a punk or a bodybuilder or a person who has a fierce faces solving it under 15 sec. It gets boring u know

  • here you go:

    watch?v=NJz02Nh99Cs

  • lol seems like some1z havin some trouble solving them. =p

  • ;) hahah. "Who needs money anyway!!!"

  • practice your F2L if you want to be this guy. anyone who knows full fidrich LL algorithms can do the last layer in 10 sec but if your F2L is 1 min or 2 min then you still need to do your F2L better.

  • TAO

  • Wow. This is weird. I have never heard so much nerd talk. Haha just kidding I love nerds.

  • erm can u define nerds pls

  • perhaps some of the greatest mofo's any1 can ever meet

  • ppl hu do rubiks cube tht quickly

  • ...petrus is fun, but fridrich is faster if you memorize it you can do very fast times, ron van bruchem's method makes you memorize at least 900 algorithms

  • yeah, petrus is more fun for personal solves, but fridrich is much more effective.

  • not really

i use fridrich, i didnt memorise all the algorithms and my best time is 36 sec

  • Algorithms=/=speed

The reason these guys own with Fridrich is because they have insane F2L...you're probably too impatient to try to sit down and just practice. LOOK AHEAD AND F2L BECOMES AMAZING

  • YEA f2l starting i took a miserable hour just to do it once, all we need is practice

  • because your slow poke dumb ass..it depends on how you it ass!!!

  • my best time is 00:52 seconds.

  • what method do you use? And if it is fridrich did you memorize all the algorithms?

  • No. I do not use the fridrich method. I use the layer by layer method for beginners. I am lerning right now the fridrich method because i want go faster.

  • I use the layer by layer method for beginners. but I am lerning naow the fridrich method.

  • yeah... i'm trying to do the fridrich without algorithms... i'm kind of a beginner

  • mine is 32 and i was lucky cause i skipped the oll

  • wow thats awesome my best time is 1:01 lol

  • why would a teacher mess ur stickers up, thats just sadistic

  • Chuck Norris dosnt turn on the light......he urns off the dark.....

  • Little Miss Muffet, sat on her tuffet...that is, until Chuck Norris came along and ROUNDHOUSE KICKED HER FACE INTO A GLACIER!

  • damn right chuck norris is faster hes so fast he can run around the earth and punch himselfin the back of the head

  • which method does he use?

  • by the look of it it looks like he is using the friedrich method

  • my record is like 59 seconds

of course i was at school and it was taking away by my geography teacher and she remove a center orange stick and placed it by a white one but there was 2 yellow but i solved it then fixed the stickers

  • lol u should never bring toys to school... lol =)

  • iknow i hate my teachers to

  • wow fluency and NO hestitation

  • where is michel gondry when you need him most....

  • he looks liek borat

  • Lol yeah

  • unstopable! autstanding!!

  • Go to school.

  • that's awesomely fast!!

    good job!

    : )

  • ur fast

  • wow it takes me 12 sec to get my first two layers. and in the beginning he didnt even seem to be going fast

  • Wow, one day I hope to get that fast! Congrats! My record is 61 seconds :D

  • i can't imagine doing that... T_T

  • it looks as tho he should have gotten a 2 sec penilty because the last turn wasnt up to competition standards and needs to be tuned just a lil

  • i spent thirty minutes just to get one side the same color...

  • actually its 519 quintillion...

  • Unless you're a Pretender, God's Algorithm is not possible for a human. By the way, there are about forty-three quintillion possible combinations to a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube; you put way too many.

  • Forget just using Fridrich. ZBF2L + ZBLL FTW. Only about 800 algorithms to memorise!

  • FREAKS O_O

  • wtf are u dumb hadley - fridrich is way way faster!!! coz with petrus its harder (longer to find the edge pieces which makes up the astarter cross for frdrich, get it right!!!

  • It could be that there are so few Petrus solvers that it just hasn't been able to reach its full potential for Speedcubing. It's still a pretty good method, though.

  • The fastest method, that most speedcubers use is the Petrus method.

  • lols damn those cubes that dont stuff up.

i want oen thats smooth like that!

  • OMGGGG.. THATS JUST AMAZINGGGG..

  • nuts...

  • bellisimo

  • How the fuck is it possible to twist the sides so fast, I always get stuck...

  • Get a new cube, take it apart, lubricate it with silicone spray (DON'T USE WD-40..it will eat the plastic), and turn it a few hundred times to break it in...oh, and practice, practice, practice...

  • yeah me too at first, but now i dont, coz i put a little amount of water inside, i know this is stupid.

  • thats pretty damn fast. Takes me 30 seconds for the 2x2x2, 2 mins for the 3x3x3, 30 mins for the 5x5x5 and several hours for the 3x3x3x3 which was just ridiculous. I didn't even try the 3x3x3x3x3 that has more permutations that there are atoms in the universe.

  • what the heck is a 3x3x3x3? ive heard of a 3x3x3, a 2x2x2 a megaminx a 5x5 but not a 3x3x3x3

  • 4D cube. Search on google.

  • A 3x3x3x is a four dimensional cube. Although you probably can't imagine what it looks like because you don't understand it.

  • lol i found a 3x3x3x3 virtual, im not gonna do it. id rather finish my 20x20

  • bravo bravo...ma davvero pensate che uno così tromberà mai?

  • If any of you see this post, can solve a rubik's cube fast with one hand, and love playing "run and jump" videogames (like kingdom hearts), see if u can beat the hardest boss in some game with one hand and see how many times you can solve the cube with the other hand before the battle is over. plz post your videos.

  • Man it's almost like there is a specific pattern to rubiks cubes and once you learn that pattern it doesn't matter how bad it's mixed up - it's the same to solve it.

I wish i could figure it out and remember that many patterns :(

  • there are patterns in a way, but not really.

  • if by "but not really" you mean there is exactly one way a rubik's cube works, then i guess i'll have to agree with you since well, there is only one way to solve it, and no matter where the colors are, it's always the same generic pattern.

If your brain doesn't "get how" the rubik's cube works, then it won't, if you completely get it, then you'd understand.

  • yeah, it's basically one big destroy and restore fest. nothing more.

  • my bad, that was my sister's account i used to comment, the "Candie 4JC" comment. She had been logged on when i went to youtube.

  • this is TRUE!!!! this guy went to the world guinness records

  • That's incredible

  • It's true. Jean Pons is an official record holder from France. That was from the Dutch Open, completely not fake.

  • the record for 3x3x3 is now 9:86 by Thibaut Jacquinot, with dan dzoan comin next.

  • the only reason it seamed as though the clip was sped up its because the person thta was walking fast is in close range, same as if you put ur hand close to your face and mive it and far way and move it at the same speed it will seem as though the closer hand goes faster witch it doen't!

    morons

  • sorrow for those who think this is fake!!!! retards!!

  • Echt krass, der Typ....^^

  • ... makes my 65 seconds seem like an eternity

  • HEYYYY! its sped up in the middle cuz at 00:27 sum1 walks past rellllly fast so ya

  • idiot. that is an official tournament. Dutch Open 2005. get your facts straight.

  • Some one walk fast cause they were close to the foces was on!

  • Very Very Good That Was Realy Fast But Toby Mao Is Faster

  • Toby Mao is fast, but Edouard Chambon even more. :D

  • I've met people like that in real life (well, not quite /that/ fast) and it sickens me.

  • nuts !!! freakin nuts

  • daaang.

  • ome speedcubers that are really fast dont use algorithms. they just find the quickest way to solve it(which is not the way most people do it(the algorithms)) :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DD:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • Actually your completely wrong.

  • actually he is not, check on youtube, Edouard Chambon set new record...

  • finally people begin to make smart comments. gungz is faster on a consistent basis, I think his average is faster than this solve, but he didn't get a single sub 11 solve at the Koean open 2007

  • Well Toby Did Have The World Record Of 10.48 Sec But Edouard Chambon Dit Beat That With 10.36 They R Both GREAT CUBERS

  • OMG U R So Dumb They DO Use Algs U Have 2 Use Algs 2 Solve The Cube If U Didnt Know That Then Ur Dumb they Dont Sit There For 15 Seconds An Just Put The Thing 2gether

  • Im sorry but that comment is one of the top 5 of my "Most Retarded Comments Ever".

  • insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaneeee!!!

  • Very very Sloww :P

  • I want to cry:))

  • Holy Shit! is he using the fridrich method for that?

  • Notre champion du monde français, hey !

    Viva Juan-Les-Pins

  • zomg thats incredible

  • Uh??? is that for real?
