  • Do u recomend this engine

  • is this ho

  • yet another video of your amazingly awesome layout. nice vid :D

  • Not only is this an amazing layout, now it's making me contemplate the scale couplers with 3 Rail trains..? Can most Atlas O rolling stock be converted to scale couplers from 3 Rail type..?

  • Is it O-Scale premeire that runs on 3 rails?

  • What are those ugly looking nubs on the nose of that SD50? They look horrible.

  • @trainmandan05 those aren't nubs, and they don't look horrible. That's the kind of nose lights that Conrail used. This appears to be an ex Conrail SD50.

  • Such an awsome video man!! Great job I love the engines 5*'s

  • what is this, O scale?

  • Yes, it is O-Scale with MTH Scaletrax

  • Do you have any issues running scale wheels on your three rail track? What radius curves are on your layout? I think the solid pilots look so much better.

    Thanks

    Mark

  • Hahaha! Looks as if MTH fell victim to thinking that the SD50 is 710 equipped. Its not, it has a 645F.

  • @BNSF5608 Some SD50s underpowered 16-645 were replaced with SD60 16-710 in upgrades. So yes, SD50 did have 710s. because of this sd50s are often mistaken for sd60s. They look the same. Maybe the MTH sound engineers went into the field to "record" the sound of a real SD50 & one of these upgraded ones were all that was available at the time. Or they may have just settled on the 710 so they could use the same sound file in both the sd50 and sd60. So in a sense, the MTH model is somewhat accurate.

  • @BNSF5608 Hahaha! Looks as if YOU fell victim to being uneducated in the locomotive industry. SD50s were initially underpowered but some were replaced with 710 prime-movers in upgrades, hence the never-ending confusion between the sd50s & sd60s. MTH probably already knows this and used the same sounds for their models to save on time and money!

  • what camera do you use and how do you film on a movin tripod???

  • @GoldenCreekValleyRR

This was shot on a Sony DVR 405. My new High def for the next video is a HDR-XR500, its awesome.

  • what is the cost of that camcorder. mine is a sony hanycam. by the way this is ripjump12s other account. and with the cleaning do you have a track cleaning car. and one more thing i cant stop watching your dvd.

  • @Toytrainsontracks How did you make the road bed/ground?

  • wow you have one realy cool layout. how did get all the smoke and real noises for the power?

  • @BNSF9250

The engines have smoke units, and some of the real sounds come from other video where I extracted the audio and dubbed over the video of the models.

  • how do you clean track inside tunnels

  • @ripjump12

I can crawl under a stand on my knees and access all the track. There is plenty of room.

  • what made you want to expand the layout?

  • @Southerntreatment

Hmmmm. Couldn't get the wife to agree to building a new layout in the rest of the basement.

  • the extension is gonna be awesome!!! Cant wait for he next video!!!!

  • @Southerntreatment

Its almost here, should be out by mid January...keep visiting my website.

  • no ditch lights :(

  • @JDStucks Wait for the next video and you'll see those new ditch lights. My website has photos too.

  • O Scale And 027 Are The Same Thing :P

  • The track width is the same, the trains are different. O27 trains are smaller and not to scale, mainly so they can negotiate tighter turns, like O27 (27 in diameter). O scale trains can vary from semi-scale to very accurate scale proportions. Because of this, they are larger and require larger radius curves like the engines in this clip which require 36 radius, or O72 (72" diameter) curves.

  • you have a very nice layout, you are lucky to have 4 CSX engines ,You can see my videos to.

  • Will you show more of the new layout extension on your website?

  • Still working on it. Just finished plastering the mountains. I'm also producing the next video which may be out this fall. Once the video is released I will start posting photos of the new extension.

  • Cool! Can't Wait! Could you do a video on the new Union Pacfic ES44AC's you got? That would be awesome!

  • i like that layout thats what i am hopeing too do becuse we have only just got our train set i havent had time to make a layout. p.s i like the horn

  • Nice, but in they need weathered, they look way too clean !

  • get some ditch lights man

  • Awesome man ! First time I have ever seen O with pilots that didn't pivot. Are these actual O scale or O27? That SD50 would look awesome with ditch lights!

  • Awesome!! Great Job!!

  • very nice! I love it

  • nice locomotive

  • does railiking make as good as sound quality. love the horn

  • me no likely because of three resons, one:made by MTH,two: 3rl o scale and three, :wheres the ditch lights??? hmmmmm............

  • Who cares what you like! Negative people like you pollute Youtube every day. Go find something better to do with your time.......You scale freaks take the joy out of running trains. It is supposed be fun!!

  • "here here" !!! :-)

  • Good looking and sounding loco

  • nice sounds.
