Well, how about this. He prolly re-geared the rearend with 3.73 or 4.10's. Cause I dont think my truck does nearly 50 mph in first and 120 mph even after my work. prolly a 2 wheel peel 4.6 re geared, thats all. Fyi thats faster that a P71 crown vic hmmm? I drive one 4 days a week
i doubt the gears are touched, if i had to guess i would say this is stock 3.55 gears ...trust me if he had 4.10s he would be shifting alot sooner. he obviously has a programmer for it hence the speeds he was able to get to. gov is probably set at 126mph like my f150 and the tranny is tweaked, allowing him to pull more rpms (faster speeds in each gear)

just talking from experience...been in 4.6l f150's, 5.4l f150s, 5.4l superduties and 5.4l expedition. its just with that exhaust its hard to tell, not hearing the engine itself. out the pipe i know they are the same (never heard without cats tho). the 4.6l makes its power in those rpms, while the 5.4l pwer band is slightly lower....the 4.6l in my f150 pulls pretty hard between 4500-5500
ive taken an 01 expediton with 5.4l up to 6000 a few times, when i upgraded to hypertech i ended up installing superchips on my dads expedition. 280 thousand kms, no thrown rod. ive got a new 5.4l in it now and its set to shift at 5500 rpm..seems nice there
it would be clear as day if he was on jackstands....speedo would go from 0-120 in a matter of seconds.....try driving on ice and punching it....my f150 winds right out till the 126mp/h hypertech gov cuts me off

how many valves you got? if 3 id go with edge, change tunes in a matter of minutes...my 03 f150 takes about 10 minutes to swap tunes

its hard, look up crown vic 0-60and compare. they both rly do sound the same, exept the vic has more rpm spand cause its a lower geard transmission.
