@Reder63 Its the cost not the distance. I always wanted to go there but you have to take an internal flight from Moscow and it comes to like close to 800 pounds. I think you can fly from Istanbul but its about the same. I dont know how good the Russian rail system is.

@7jem331 Why? Kazan only near 700 km on east from Moscow. Only 12 hours by russian railroads.
