absolutely fantastic video!!! i love it there its not like most places. the people are very nice the ocean is beutiful and its such a cute small town! i have planned that when i get older i am ging to become a marine biologist and move there anyways nice vid!!
Bring all your backup gear, you are going to need all of your equipment. One of these days I'm going back up there for the sole purpose of photography, this trip was just a jaunt with the kids. Good luck, scope out the local off-the-beaten tracks as much as you can, do your research online, and have a blast. It's an outstanding place for photos, all of Mendocino County, from Ft. Bragg down to Point Arena, all of HWY 1 is a tour de force of nature. I'm excited for you as a fellow photographer.
It's a Norwegian death metal band. Most of their music is ummmmm a bit nuts, but sometimes they do some monumental soundtracks for films. The name of the film is Svidd Neger, this is track 3 from the CD. I do not know the name. The entire CD is outstanding in regards to ambient music. Really great stuff. Thank you for the comment!
hey i know funkymunky132 and i luv ur vidz and i hope u make more ashlyn goese to my school and told our group to check out ur vids she said that they r riley good and man she was rite(=
I JUST got back from Fort Bragg, great pics! It looks like you went up to the "Avenue of the Giants" and one beach photo is exactly like the beach by the beachcomber motel, by Pudding Creek
I love Fort Bragg more than any other place on earth, thanks for the pics.
Hi Wally. The Redwoods was actually Route 20, just a side stop on the road. The hotel we stayed in is pictured in the video also, Pine Beach Inn. It's on the north side of town, had it's own private beach behind it. The abalone divers love it there because they have a diver's station behind the rooms by the beach trail. It's one of my favorite spots in the world beside Monterey. Did you see my Monterey video? I'm an amateur video person, still working on it. Million pics to go still!!
Great! Keep the videos coming. I was on the north side of town too, closer to Cleone heading out to 10 mile river, so I most likely passed the Pine Beach Inn a bunch of times.
Anyway, keep the pictures coming, I love the video.
DId u go to glass beach beacause thats were i just recently moved i live right across the street from glass beach in the yellow wood house omg so kool
Hey i am absolutly amazed at the picture i used to live in fort bragg but had to move when i was obly 7 and now i am 13 so this brought back so many memoriesei am going to move back into my old house so thank you for enspiring my family to move back god bless you
Thank you very much for your compliments. I've been told many times that I should be a photographer. I have a livejournal account under whitedove1 also and it's FULL of my photography also. I would love to live in the Ft. Bragg area, it's so peaceful, so beautiful, I can spend hours on glass beach. I am going to post more videos of my photography very soon. Thanks for stopping by to look at my vid and my son's two vids. (goofy kids are playing LOST in the vids)
We make it there a couple times a year. There's so many amazing things to see and do that don't require spending a ton of money. It's a nature-lovers best find.
Thats my hometown

I thought the music starting out was from a Stephen King movie.

I am a photographer planning an expedition this September to Mendocino. You guys captured light and shadows in some of your photo rather brilliantly!
