dexdik if your psp have a custom firmware then it will work without any proplems if you followed the steps .. there is a chance that it wont work on psp 3000 or psp go .. so if you followed the steps and had a custom firmware then it wont brick your psp ... btw maybe they will need 5.0.0 + custom firmwares .. if urs is low just try maybe it will work .. if it didnt work just update to 5.0.0 custom firmware .. thx for watching :)
