There are many reasons to why the state should educate people, one of them being to give everyone a fair chance in life. People just can't be trusted with the education of their children, and besides, children are not the property of parents.

Secondly, it's only happenstance that a certain child is born to a certain pair of parents, thus it's everyone's responsibility to see to children's future. Thirdly, parents don't have any education to foster or educate their children, and they don't suffer for doing a bad job.

This leads to the conclusion that to ensure that every child gets a good upbringing and a proper education we need an institution to govern this. Thus, the government has been given the responsibility to educate children. In many countries, the state also supervises fostering to prevent perverse and atypical upbringings.

I just decided that from a very young age i would try my hardest to be -not just good- but the greatest, kindest person I could be... I started looking at things and realising their damage, and slowly the Commandments revealed themselves to me. It all lines up. "Those pure of heart will hear God". I tried, still do. And I did. But even though we don't know everything, we know an enormous amount still about how our universe works. We certainly know more than people who wrote the bible 2000 years ago - that is why often the bible contradicts the evidence, because the people who wrote it were not aware of how the universe worked.

Secondly, it's only happenstance that a certain child is born to a certain pair of parents, thus it's everyone's responsibility to see to children's future. Thirdly, parents don't have any education to foster or educate their children, and they don't suffer for doing a bad job.

@DeepSouth16 Now of course, we don't know everything yet. That is why science hasn't stopped - it is the on-going search for knowledge. But even though we don't know everything, we know an enormous amount still about how our universe works. We certainly know more than people who wrote the bible 2000 years ago - that is why often the bible contradicts the evidence, because the people who wrote it were not aware of how the universe worked.

@DeepSouth16 Further, we can look at the fossil record, where we can see many fossils changing over time, for example Diatoms. We can see through the fossil records that Diatoms have changed over many generations.
We also have vestigial organs, and the fact that if you get all the life on earth you can compare its genetic makeup and it all fits onto a very nice branched tree of life. And all the pieces of evidence mutually support each other.

We have observed bacteria developing the ability to break down man-made materials such as nylon byproducts which did not previously exist. We further tested this by placing other bacteria in a nylon rich environment and found they too developed the ability to break down these man-made products after a few generations.

I wish all the "smart" scientifically brain washed people would READ the caption. Again,this is a NON-PROFIT 501(c) organization that is tax exempt. They do not receive any state funds. If they(the God haters) want to remove their exemption then do it for every non-profit. These people are not pushing their religion on anyone so they should be left alone.
